Great area at the Confolens riverside picnic area in the summer season kayak and boat hire is available here, 300m from the house. Beautiful picnic area beautiful bridges one side, large weir at the other. The kayak hire is by the hire also recommend the longer kayak tours available, me and my children did the 16km down river back to Confolens through beautiful scenery all the way.
