From the first step into this restaurant you get full attention from the staff. Is you BBQ meat ready to turn or be cut, they will do it immediately. Have you finished your sauce, they will refill it immediately. The whole 5 Star service finishes with a dessert from the kitchen. Outstanding 5 Star Customer Attention with amazing sides & food quality.

Amazing doughnuts. The range changes from day to day, so there's always variety. Highlights for me include the earl grey and rose, the Australian honey and sea salt, and the chocolate banana bread doughnuts. It's more of a takeaway place, but if you get there when it's quieter, you can grab a table or some bench space.

Entertainment & Activities

Great place to goto for food, drinks and play some games. Great drinks, great staff and great service clean facilities only thing that is wrong is prices bit high.

Parks & Nature

Located right next to Melbourne CBD, the Botanical Gardens is a wonderful place to spend a day. With plants and trees from all different regions, it definitely does not feel like you are in the heart of a major city. The place is perfect for all sorts of activities: a nice walk down the alleys, a picnic, moonlight cinema during summer and even weddings.

Arts & Culture

Great cinema experience. Depending on the cinema number some armrests can be raised, some cannot. 'Lux' available at this cinema as well as extreme-screen. Discount vouchers available from a variety of sources (for example for Optus customers) is a bonus.

A treasure. The forest (yes, it has its own forest!) is on par with the crown jewels of any of the world's natural history museums. The pygmy blue whale skeleton isn't far behind. Superb indigenous peoples exhibits, very extensive "bug" collection, good (albeit somewhat cramped) collection of dinosaur fossils. Lots of spaces dedicated to kids [under refurbishment mid-2016], if you can pull them away from the aforementioned exhibits. Decent café, which has been recently spruced up. Finally, don't forgot to head upstairs for a photo opportunity with Phar Lap.

Beautifully designed theatre with clear views of the stage. Staff here are professional and warm. The only issue is intermission break you'll be hard pressed to get to the bar for a drink before the bell.

Shopping

Very nicely setup and looking shopping centre, with plenty of big name brands to chose from. Unfortunately (but not Emp's fault), it's easy to get confused that you have walked into the Emporium and left Melbourne Central, so don't expect to have your Melbourne Central parking validated when you make a purchase. Whoops.

One of Melbourne's newest Direct Factory Outlets, awesome range of apparel, footwear, and accessories for both men and women. Upstairs has furniture and home furnishing outlets. Decent food court, but it's right next to South Wharf Promenade if you're looking for great food and drinks. Probably the best place to shop in the city for a bargain.

Great place to visit in Melbourne. If serious about shopping for food items it is more pleasant to go early in the morning before the crowds emerge. Delicatessens are great and a couple of good bakeries. Coffee is better at Market Lane across the road rather than the outlet in the dairy hall. Yes, bargains at the end of the day, but the bargains will be very ripe fruit ready to eat immediately and not suitable for storing a couple of days. The best meat is from the butchers that don't have people yelling out their bargains-they don't need to do that. A lot of cheaply made stuff in the northern sheds, probably generally avoided unless looking for something specific.

The biggest branch in the city, might even be the biggest supermarket in the city, lines might get a little long doing peak times but plenty of registers so it moves fast, don't be discouraged, got everything you might need and more. Tip, the shortcut down is from inside bigw store, you would see people going down an escalator at the entrance of the QV center. The other parts of the center are also very good, take a look around...
