Be warned that nothing opens during the week except during bank holidays and in August.
In Spain lunch is the most important meal and dinners are usually not taken before 21.00. For a small village you find plenty of options and sometimes even exceptionally good food!
Bar La Ruta (at the square) and (in climbing season) bar/restaurant Gosganos open some (not all) weekdays.
El Pozo is an excellent bar and hostel and opens at the weekends (Friday eve, Saturday lunch and dinner, and Sunday lunch). Restaurant Las Hoces is also very good and often opens from Wednesdays onwards. Check online for opening hours and call or pass by to book a table.
There are also options such as Las Bodegas in nearby Vanacloig or La Aldea in Calles.

Sometimes there is spontaneous live music. Only open in the climbing high season from October till April.

Things to do in Valencia
La Lonja, gorgeous medieval building opposite the Mercado Central (which you should also visit). It use to be the silk trading flour and also functioned as a trade counsil at some point. Now very interesting buidling to visit. To try the audio tour.

Book wine tastings online. You can often combine a visit with a splendid paella lunch. The Bodega is 20 minutes by car from Chulilla.
It's an amazing experience with a tour of the whole winery and you get two bottles of wine to take home. If you like wine it's the best rest day outing in the whole area!!
