Need a decent Coffee?

Just a few minutes walk from the house you'll find 3 coffee shops on Landor Road. 1. Hoppers: a wonderful place right on the walk to the underground. The coffee is delicious, super friendly and they serve a variety of cooked food throughout the day as well as the usual breakfast selection of pastries. . They also have a stall outside the tube entrance. 2. Landor’s Nature: this is a great shop for groceries and fresh veg which also does fresh juices, coffee and a selection of Turkish pastries. Very nice, friendly and a good selection. 3. Brand New: This coffee shop has just opened on Landor road. So it’s super clean and sells a variety of sandwiches and cakes. If you need more than coffee, there is the Landor pub, the newly refurbished Clapham North and the Falcon ( a local institution).
Well worth a visit for your coffee fix in the morning!

Not sure what you fancy? Try Brixton Market

Brixton Market is about a 20 minute walk away. Here you’ll be able to choose from a huge variety of cuisines, from Japanese, to burgers, Mexican, Chinese, French, Brazilian, pizza, bars, fish and so much more. Set inside the historic market, this is a must see place to visit. In fact, Brixton is a must see. So much to see and do plus a selection of shops, for fashion needs, groceries and much more.
Well worth the 20 minute walk to have a walk around the historic market and Brixton in general. There are several different markets, walk ways, pop up and places of interest.

Want a really delicious Sunday Roast?

This recommendation is perhaps not on the door step but worth a cycle ride on a Santander hire bike: It's set besides the lovely Vauxhall park, a traditional pub environment but with above average food. You'll need to book on a Sunday as it's very popular. Alternatively, there is the equally delicious and perhaps cheaper Crown and Anchor besides yet an other park, Slade Gardens. It’s walking distance and serves very good cider too. But Clapham and Brixton both have more than their fair share of delicious temping places to eat.
One of my favourite pubs for a local Sunday Roast. Set on the edge of Vauxhall Park, delicious food and friendly environment.
