This is a beautiful Canyon to walk through, right next to Calico Ghost Town. There is a little climbing, but overall a pretty easy hike.

This is a very gorgeous area to hike around. There is very little shade, so go prepared with a hat, sunscreen and plenty of water. This is a nice place to see Joshua trees if you are not going to the national park.

This is the road to the lava tubes near the Pisgah Crater. Everyone has a different story of how to get there and where the best tubes are. But it doesn’t matter—-just go on the road as far as you can—— then get out and explore.

All of the locals love their pizza. The dough is fresh and homemade. Peggy Sue’s is all about atmosphere. Save some fries to feed the ducks!

This is the greatest thrift store EVER! The owners restock every Monday with the wonderful things they have found over the weekend. If you have extra room and want to take home something from your travels--this is the place to stop. Tell Ron that Gaye sent you! Ron's prices are excellent too.

If you love antique shopping this is the stop for you. This place has been around forever and is constantly replenishing the amount of wonderful things they have. Things are very nicely priced as well.
