Food scene

My favorite places to eat and pick up food in Killington.
Great food but more importantly, amazing cocktail menu made with the liquor distilled on the premises. Buy bottles to take home.

Great canned beer selection and a nice draft selection as well. Great bar food, like the Hops Burger, Buffalo Cauliflower, and Totchos!

JAX has the best appetizers (special food HH apres ski!) and nicest staff. Great bar with a large outdoor patio. There's a few arcade games too.

My favorite breakfast spot! Make sure to come early on Sunday as it fills up after checkout time. Their french toast specials are huge - worth it!

City/town information

Woodstock is picturesque New England. Located about a half hour from the condo, come for lunch and to walk around a charming small town.

Located about 40 minutes from Killington, the Quechee Gorge is an amazing site. The town also has great little shops (including a Cabot Cheese outlet!) and an antique mall.

If you need anything from your typical big box stores, make sure to stop in Rutland on your way to Killington. If you plan to cook during your stay, groceries will be less expensive at the grocery stores in Rutland than at Killington Market.

Sightseeing

About a 40 minute scenic drive from the condo, head over to Quechee for gorgeous views of the gorge, and if you're up for it, a hike down a well-beaten path to the lower area of the gorge for nearly all skill-levels.

Consejos para la ciudad

Cómo moverse

Don't think about drinking and driving...

Pickle Barrel/Wobbly Barn and Jax (and likely others) have shuttle busses to get you to the bars without the need for a DD. It's a great perk and way to support the businesses.

The views at the Killington Peak Lodge

The food options there are more speciality and a little pricier than at the base, but worth it!

If flying in...

If you fly into Lebanon, please note the hours of the rental car companies. They may close before your flight lands (especially if your flight is delayed).
