It’s so nice to walk along the Savannah River. There is so much going on. Local vendors often set up shop. And you can watch the barges coming up and down the river. Just be mindful. The shopping there is more tourist centered. I love Savannah, ect. But there is a lot of history along the river and restaurants but if I’m honest, I haven’t really eaten at any of them. Also, look for the echo spot! It’s not labeled. It’s in a square with an X. Stand on it and talk. It’s worth finding.

Two Tides has great local craft beer. They definitely specialize in their IPAs and sours. Chromatose is such a good sour and my husband really likes the 6 foot IPA. Those 2 are usually always available.

The rooftop bar looks over the Savannah River and it’s always my go to if I want to have a drink and watch the barges go by. Very beautiful spot.

Downtown Savannah Parking
Parking downtown is enforced Monday-Friday from 8AM-8PM. Parking is free on Sundays. There is an app called ParkSavannah which you can use to start a and extend your time on if you’re needing more time. If you forget, the machines and app should tell you that no payment is required. There are also multiple parking garages (not free on the weekend). These prices in parking garages can vary based on day of the week and holidays.
