Swiss Valley reservoir is a lovely place to go for a walk with a family or a dog. It is approx 3.5 miles from our apartment. Please note that the walk around the reservoir is through woods and therefore not suitable for anyone with restricted mobility

Pontneddfechan is near Glyn neath where you can park whilst you walk to the waterfalls and have a lovely pub meal when you get back
The Gower Peninsula is a place of outstanding natural beauty which has many beautiful beaches, too many to list. However, Gower is a 30 minute drive from the apartment and it would take you a good week to explore all the beaches and coastal walks.

Enjoy a day at the races at one of the Uk s newest racecourse. Ffos Las is only 7 miles from our apartment it hosts race meetings throughout the year both National Hunt jumps and also flat races .... it also holds out door music concerts in the summer

It also has a large indoor play area for young children. I believe you can take dogs in the beer garden
