Although it’s a 30+ minute drive from Hurricane, Snow Canyon is worth the drive! It’s varying landscape- red sandstone, black lava rock, white cliffs, along with the desert vegetation, lava caves and extinct volcanoes, it’s a must see! There are also over 20 miles of intersecting trails if you’re up for a hike or bike ride.

If you’re wanting to get up in the pines, Pine Valley is the nearest place to get there. It’s the big, beautiful mountain you see outside our house to the North. It’ll take you about 1&1/2 hours to drive there, but it’s absolutely beautiful and a bit cooler if you’re wanting to get out of the summer heat! There is a small reservoir for fishing, picnicking by, or just relaxing next to and enjoying the view.
