Πρόκειται για ολόκληρο χωριό, τα απομεινάρια του οποίου κατάφεραν να επιβιώσουν δια πυρός και σιδήρου (στην κυριολεξία), για τουλάχιστον 4.000 χρόνια!!!
Αξίζει σίγουρα μια επίσκεψη καθώς τα ευρήματα που θα συναντήσετε εκεί, είναι αξιοθαύμαστα.
Χαρακτηριστικά θα αναφέρω τα πολυόροφα κτίρια μιας και ικανό μέρος τους σώζεται ακόμη.
Η τιμή εισόδου ανέρχεται στα 12 ευρώ και ανάλογα με το αν επιλέξει κανείς ξεναγό ή και εισητήριο που να συνδυάζει επισκέψεις και σε άλλους αρχαιολογικούς χώρους του νησιού, αναδιαμορφώνεται.
Αναλογικά με την έκταση του χώρου και τη βαρύτητα των εκθεμάτων πάντως, το ποσό είναι λογικό. Καθώς πέρα από το χωριό, μέσω της επίσκεψής του, ο επισκέπτης έρχεται σε επαφή μ' ολόκληρη την ιστορία του νησιού.
Μπορείτε να συνδυάσετε την επίσκεψή σας και με μπάνιο στην "Κόκκινη παραλία". Λόγω τοποθεσίας βολεύει.
