Pembrey Country Park consists of some 500 acres of parkland about 15 minutes drive from our flat. Its southern edge is formed by the 8 miles long Cefn Sidan Beach. The park contains visitor attractions such as ski slopes, a toboggan ride, horse-riding, pitch-and-putt and crazy golf, laser tag, adventure play areas, a miniature railway, and mountain bike trails.

A trip to Rhossili is a must for the scenery and walk towards ‘Worm's Head’. At low tide you can walk out to the Head itself but this is cut off in higher tides. A 45 minute drive from our apartment - 30 minutes of which goes through the Gower Peninsula, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). There are too many lovely beaches and bays to list around the Gower!
