The Colorado National Monument is an absolute must see during your stay in Colorado, the Fruita entrance is no more than 10 minute drive away from the guesthouse. I highly recommend hiking in the morning and then driving back up in the evening for the sunset and the city lights on the drive down!

The grand mesa is a beautiful location filled with, Amazing views, fun hikes, and in the summer time mountain biking trails! If you visit in the fall Color Sunday on the mesa is highly recommended! This year it is being held on September 30th
