If you have never tried caving (spelunking) before, Bend has a number of lava tubes that you can hike and explore inside. Not recommended for kids, or if you are claustrophobic since there are a few places where you must get on your hands and knees to get through. Light sources are also a requirement. If you don’t have light sources with you and would like to explore the caves, please let us know so we can provide you with the necessary gear for this adventure.

Food Truck Lots

For those who are new to Oregon and Bend, we like to eat at food trucks. You’ll see them all over town, usually on a vacant lot with several other food trucks and a place to order beer. This is not only a great way to save money, but a way to try different types of cuisine that you wouldn’t otherwise try. We are up to 8 food truck lots now so there is no shortage of food to try. Our personal favorites are “On Tap” and “Midtown Yacht Club” both of which are just a short drive from the space.
