Drinks & Nightlife

Crowded fun UC crowd, few famous names, drink at the bar or book a table, dimly lit and the reason I recommend it, its perfect for those who are no longer in their 30s (sadly). If you don't drink, don't go.

Food Scene

Down a couple of residential streets in Fulham, the Harwood is a gastro pub with a difference - the food is fantastic! Well it should be, as it has a Michelin star, in fact the only one in London in a pub. Its casual setting makes it easy to relax. Check the menu and book ahead if you like the look of it.

The locals still go. Perhaps the only bohemian place left in the area - cafe, drinks, eat - known for its music, with a small club downstairs for bands or soloists, Bob Dylan. In the 50s it was a centre of left-wing intellectual and artistic life. others have played here; worth whiling the hours away.

Sightseeing

Links to King Henry 8th, and still the same service as in the time as Queen Elizabeth 1st (1500s). The South Chapel was rebuilt in 1528, as Sir Thomas Moore's private Chapel. The building, as it stood before the war, consisted of the Chancel, dating probably from the 13th century, with Chapels on the North and South (about 1325), and the Nave and Tower (1670).
