This area of Denver is very vibrant! Lot's of restaurants, breweries, sporting events and concerts. You can walk almost any direction and find Coors Field, Ball Arena, Empower Stadium, Meow Wolff, Union Station.
From DIA take the train all the way to Union Station and then it's a short walk to the sites and the condo.
There are too many things to recommend, you will have to explore on. your own as well. Let me know if you find something not on this list. These are just a few of my favs.

You can still walk to this grocery store, but a little further if you are carrying groceries. They have parking, but it is a huge hassle, be prepared to wait. It's convenient and they have all the basics.

This is the Flagship store. If anything, just check it out for the architecture. It's just a beautiful area. Confluence park, the Cherry Creek walking path and creek.

You can choose to drive, bike or hike up this Colorado 14'er. You will see marmots and mountain goats. At the base is Echo Lake Lodge with a little cafe and souvenirs. In the winter you can snowshoe, hike or cross country ski around the lake.
