Approximately 14 kilometres downstream from Miljacka slap is Roški slap, the sixth cascade on the Krka River. It was named after the Rog hill-fort (Rog = horn), whose ruins are barely visible today. The canyon in this section widens into a funnel shape. The beginning of the travertine barriers is made up of a series of small cascades (called a “necklace” by the locals), while the middle portion is made up of numerous backwaters and islands. The length of the barrier is nearly 650 metres, at its widest is approximately 450 metres wide, with a total difference in altitude of 22.5 metres. The main waterfall is found at the end of the barrier where the Krka River falls 15 metres into Visovac Lake. Travertine formations at the waterfall are made up of caves, tufts, thresholds, small barriers and tapers. The tapers appear at the base of the main waterfall and represent the specificity of the Roški slap cascades. In 1910, on the right bank of the river, the Roški slap hydroelectric plant was constructed. Over the waterfall, there is a road that dates back to Roman times. On both riverbanks, there are numerous mills, several of which have been restored and returned to their original function. Next to the mills, there is a renovated pillar for wool production and a valjavica for washing fabrics, which have a special cultural and historical significance and as such are monuments of rural architectural and trade history. Due to their primary function and expression of rural life, these structures are considered to be ethnographic monuments. Roški slap is especially interesting due to the distinctively rich canyon vegetation which comes in contact with the dry, light and moist shady habitats.   From the Promina side, you can reach the waterfall via the road Drniš-Širitovci, and from the Bukovac side you can reach the waterfall from the village of Laškovica. From Šibenik, you can reach Roški slap via the roads Šibenik-Pakovo-Ključ-Širitovci or Šibenik-Skradin-Dubravice-Rupe-Laškovica. You can also reach Roški slap via the river from Skradinski buk on an excursion boat road provided by the Public Institution of Krka National Park.

The Cathedral of St James in Šibenik (1431-1535), on the Dalmatian coast, bears witness to the considerable exchanges in the field of monumental arts between Northern Italy, Dalmatia and Tuscany in the 15th and 16th centuries. The three architects who succeeded one another in the construction of the Cathedral - Francesco di Giacomo, Georgius Mathei Dalmaticus and Niccolò di Giovanni Fiorentino - developed a structure built entirely from stone and using unique construction techniques for the vaulting and the dome of the Cathedral. The form and the decorative elements of the Cathedral, such as a remarkable frieze decorated with 71 sculptured faces of men, women, and children, also illustrate the successful fusion of Gothic and Renaissance art.

The promenade through the St Anthony's Channel, whose construction was part of the EU project carried out by the Public Institution Nature of the Šibenik-Knin County, was designed so that its appearance and materials used do not disrupt the natural harmony of the protected area. It is suitable for family-friendly walks and sightseeing, organized groups of tourists, recreational running and cycling. It is about 4.4 kilometres long and connects an area extending from Panikovac Cove to the islet of Školjić near St Nicholas' Fortress. The promenade in the channel can be reached by car; you can walk there or cycle from Panikovac Cove in Šibenik Bay or you can use the road leading to Zablaće from Škar Cove. It takes about two hours to walk along the whole promenade, which proves to be a great experience accompanied by the opportunity to enjoy an awe-inspiring panoramic view of the entire city and the Šibenik archipelago from several locations. Along the promenade some solar lamps have been set up to provide light at night; tourist signposting for individual visitors and guided groups and some pieces of urban equipment have been provided as well.

Visovac Island is among the most important natural and cultural values of the Republic of Croatia. Since 1445, this has been the site of the Franciscan monastery of Our Lady of Mercy, and the Church of Our Lady of Visovac. With their magnificent grounds and surrounded by Visovac Lake, this forms a unique entity. During its stormy history, Visovac was and has remained an island of peace and prayer, and the Franciscan monastery is a fortress of spirituality and faith, and one of the key foundation stones of the survival of the Croats and the preservation of the Croatian national identity. The monastery possesses a significant archaeological collection, a collection of historical church linens and dishes, and a rich library with many valuable books and incunabula. The centre of worship for the Mother of God at Visovac is the painting of the Virgin. According to the legend, the Franciscans brought the painting with them when they were forced to flee Bosnia during the Turkish invasions, and they found new shelter at Visovac. Due to the centuries of worship of Our Lady, the island of Visovac is also called Our Lady’s Island.
