There are many restaurants nearby.
Two that are unique to Utah are Cubbys and Waffle Love.
At Waffle Love our favorite is the Chicken and Waffle - the chicken is surprisingly tender with delicious dipping sauce.
If you want to go to a unique, nice, sit-down restaurant try The Porch.
Another delicious place for breakfast is Penny Ann's Cafe. It is a little bit farther away but worth the drive.
Our favorite place for Indian Food is Bombay House - also a little bit farther away than the other restaurants we listed.

Sightseeing

Mountain Adventures
Snowbird Resort is a 40-minute drive from the apartment.
In the Winter Snowbird and Alta have some of "The Greatest Snow on Earth." Snowbird allows snowboarding and skiing. Alta is only for skiers.
During the Summer months, there are beautiful hikes, mountain biking, scenic Tram rides, mountain roller coasters, wildflowers, etc.

Light rail is a great option to get around
We live less than 2 miles from the Red Line light rail called TRAX.
If you want an inexpensive ride to the light rail, download the UTA on Demand app and use it like Uber to get around in the South Valley ($2 per ride). You may need to wait 20-25 minutes for a pick-up during peak travel time so plan accordingly.

Bring Your Swimming Suit
We have a hot tub year-round. During the Summer we set up an above-ground swimming pool. You are welcome to use them during your stay. Remember - children must be supervised in the pool or hot tub at all times. This is your notice that there is not a lifeguard and guests use these amenities at their own risk.
