This is a beautiful swim spot. It is more of a quick dip type of place. No tables or washrooms. Pebble beach.

Hiking
Jade and Juniper bay beach is a short walk down from the parking lot. Cosens bay is a longer hike approximately 1.5 hours round trip which takes you to a beautiful clean beach. The park is gorgeous overall you cant really go wrong.

We love it up here. We hike and mountain bike at Silver Star in the summer and Snowboard in the winter. If your hiking you'll still require a pass according to Silver Star. In the past we have gone to the ticket booth in the morning and they just printed us off a hiking pass. Online it says they charge you 25$ per person, but they have never charged us. The festivities are really fun so definitely check out their website.

BX Creek & Falls Trail

The upper trail network right before Ellison Park is great for mountain biking and hiking. Please be aware that there are sudden cliffs in certain areas of the main part of Ellison park and poses a risk to dogs and children. Keep them within a safe distance to you when hiking in Ellison.

I grew up in the BX area of Vernon and there is lots to see in this area. BX Cidery offers a cool atmosphere where you can have some local ciders while sitting in the orchard or on their patio. Also, they have live music so be sure to check there website for upcoming events.

This is a pretty safe dog park with responsible dog owners. There is a gate to across the field that leads you to the grey canal trail which you can take your dog on and go for a nice walk.

This is a great dog park that is close to your stay, and has a slow moving creek through it for warmer days. You can find a playground, tennis courts, an indoor pickle ball arena, baseball and soccer fields. It is also, a nice place for walks with the family.
