My favorite coffee shop, I started drinking their home roasted brews back when they were a hole in the wall in Atascadero. They now have 2 shops and coffee that’s sold all over the state. Be sure to also take home a bag of their tasty beans!

My favorite place in Paso to sit for a bit with friends and coffee. Open air and even doubles as a piano and wine bar in the evenings. The owners could not be nicer, more talented folks either.

Out and about Food

Fun places to eat locally within the county but outside of Paso Robles
If you pop over to morro bay, this former hole in the wall has the best Baja CA style Mexican Seafood (they also have meat and veggie options) Sometimes there is a wait for for a table but it’s worth it. Tip: always check the specials board that’s where you’ll see the freshest fish they’ve got.

One of my favorite places in morro bay to sit outside on a nice day. Behind the main dockside restaurant, right on the water. Fantastic sea food, so fresh you can often watch them load it right off the boats while you’re eating. Live music on the weekends and it’s also a fish market so you can grab yourself something to take home.

Sea Chest Cambria- Old school but the best seafood in the county. They don’t take reservations, cash only. Arrive early and bring chairs and a bottle of wine to enjoy while you wait. This area is my favorite, it’s more of a drive to these wineries but the backRoads of Paso are Spanish moss and oak tree lined and some of the most beautiful scenery in CA. (I grew up in this area so I may be biased) If you head this way I suggest making a picnic, packing some drinks and spending the day doing a loop
