Barefoot Landing is located along the beautiful Intracoastal Waterway in North Myrtle Beach and features national retail shops, quaint boutiques, an impressive selection of restaurants and eateries, and exciting entertainment and amusement offerings. It's just short 5 minutes drive from The Rainbow Spot. when we visit there, we literately go for evening walk every night. lots of free entertainment for family. The oak tree playground is a favorite for family with kids.
There is always something wonderful to enjoy, including special events throughout the year.

Food scene
If you looking for a good seafood buffet place, this is it! Every dish we taste are fresh and delicious. Crab legs are great. The variety is amazing. The sweet tea is brewed so no powdery tea. The desert cart is huge. Lots of vegetables. The museum in the lower level of the restaurant is very interesting. there is also a kid's area kids could explore as well. It's definitely one of kind experiences for family. my 6 years old kid love the place.

great lunch spot. price is very reasonable, friendly staff, excellent food and amazing view of marina. It's right next to North Pool Tower, you could simply hoop over to pool after the lunch

One of best southern comfort food in town, not to mention One of the best value restaurant at the beach. it's about 17 minute of drive from the Rainbow Spot, so it's a little bit of hike, however, it's well worth it. As for entrees, there are always daily special with 3 sides for $11 and you get the choice of about 5 meats and a bunch of sides (which includes dessert). The last visit I got the chicken fried steak with the white gravy and oh boy was it good. Everything was delicious and tasted just like grandma's.

With just $5 more , you get to try one other attraction near by. you could spend whole day there. We had tried Ripley Aquarium and movie theater last time and we had a blast . The theater is in the same area where myrtle beach sky wheel is. we stop by NY pizza kitchen Sky Wheel right across from sky Wheel for lunch. this place has most amazing pizza and the serving size is huge. some other restaurant has long wait time, we decided to give it a try, and we are so glad we do.

if you travel by air, it's impossible to bring all baby gear,
check out Baby gear rentals at Noahs Ark Baby Shop. they have very reasonable weekly/daily rental rate and anything baby related. they also sell used baby cloth and toys. you could find many bargain baby items there. Finally, they also have a drop off box for traveler to drop off any food they have left after vacation, so people who needed them could pick them up without any judgement.
