It is a small town with 4 or 5 resturants. But the Highfalls is lovely you can walk along the rushing water and come out at a lock. ?? Certainly a place with its own personality, High Falls is a hot spot in the Hudson Valley for fine antiques, unique shops, and great dining. Once made famous for its canal, High Falls remembers its origins with the D&H Canal museum located in the heart of the town adjacent to a portion of the canal and five locks.
