There is a wonderful walk down the old railroad tracks by the Loch. Rescobie Loch is also stocked with rainbow trout, brown trout and tiger trout so is great fishing. The fish bothy is just across from the Old Manse to the right (west).

The birthplace of JM Barrie (author of Peter Pan) this town is about 20min away and absolutely adorable and picturesque. There is a great Peter Pan playground, a camera obscura and climbing wall.
