Drinks & Nightlife

We're still exploring the neighborhood and have come into this place twice so far. It's a nice and cozy locals bar with a personally selected list of rotating beers and home-infused cocktails. Delicious food and good happy hour, too! Prices may be a little on the higher side for drinks though.

Sightseeing

Hidden in South Seattle, Kubota Garden is a stunning 20 acre landscape that blends Japanese garden concepts with native Northwest plants. The city acquired the property, which is a historic landmark, in 1987 from the estate of master landscaper Fujitaro Kubota. Kubota was a horticultural pioneer when he began merging Japanese design techniques with North American materials in his display garden in 1927. The Gardens are a spectacular setting of hills and valleys, interlaced with streams, waterfalls, ponds, bridges, and rock out-croppings with a rich array of plant material.

Cómo moverse

Easy way to the city via light rail

From the studio, either walk, drive, bus, or take a Lyft/Uber to the Rainier Beach light rail station, about a mile away. From this station, you can get to SeaTac airport, Downtown Seattle, and University of Washington. It's the most convenient way to get to downtown without the hassle of having to park and pay or drive through the traffic.
