100%would recommend this place to absolutely anyone. - great location in Kandy: on a hill, so close to some really nice views and very central so walkable into the city - great amenities: washing machine, hot water, clean kitchen and clean bathroom, microwave - spacious - free WiFi (but it's a bit slow so I wouldn't rely on this) - nicely decorated and comfortable house - really responsive, communicative and friendly host - will give local recommendations and even cooked for us for a little extra money !!

Nous avons passé un bon séjour dans la globalité , le logement est spacieux et propre, un barbecue à disposition pour faire des grillades. Les avantages: belle vue des hauteurs, grande maison, spacieuse, propre, concierge adorable et disponible, barbecue, lits confortable. Les moins: il manque une salle de bain en plus pour que ça soit parfait, attention à la propreté de la piscine qui n’était pas traité ( donc pas pu se baigner), manque d’équipement général pour la cuisine, le bruit général extérieur ( chien qui aboie toute la nuit).

Superbe séjour dans cette Villa avec une vue splendide ! Mention spéciale aux deux cuisiniers hors pairs que sont Roshan et sa femme . Vraiment un superbe séjour ! Allez y les yeux fermés 🥰

Wir haben uns von der ersten Wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an sehr wohl gefühlt in diesem komfortablen, großen und geschmackvoll eingerichteten Haus. Es liegt am Ende einer ruhigen Seitenstraße mit einem tollen Blick über das Tal und den Fluss bis zu den Bergen. Sakunthala hat uns supernett begrüßt und alles getan dafür, dass wir uns gut aufgenommen fühlten. Sie ist darüber hinaus auch eine gute Köchin die uns bestes Essen serviert hat. Auch die Hausbesitzer Aude und Ariyam, die wir später kennenlernen durften, sind sehr nett und waren immer bemüht, unseren Aufenthalt so bequem wie möglich zu gestalten. Das einzige, was wir bereuen, ist, dass wir nur drei Tage gebucht hatten und dann weiterreisen mussten. Sehr gerne würden wir nochmal kommen. Vielen Dank für alles! Katharina

Эта необычная вилла расположена в джунглях. Мы хотели испытать именно такие ощущения: далеко от людей, без интернета, без вай-фай и без сотовой связи. И этот опыт получился незабываемым!!! Вилла современная, чистая, красивая. Сотрудник виллы приходил к нам дважды в день (утром и вечером), уважал нашу приватность и помогал нам по всем вопросам. Не смотря на некоторые проблемы с электричеством, наше впечатление от этого места нисколько не омрачилось! Потрясающий небольшой водопад прямо под виллой и небольшое кристально чистое озеро - это изюминка этого места. Рекомендуем к посещению всем, кто ищет уединения и соприкосновения с природой: она здесь абсолютно девственная!

It is really amazing relaxing place far from noisy road. The room with full-length windows is amazing! View of the jungle and rice field. Also the room was clean and all we need was there. Pool is nice! The host Sakula is very attentive and caring! You can contact him with any questions. He is also interesting person to talk with. His family and staff are very kind too! So we felt like home! I would like to recommend Sakula’s place everybody!

Grand Hills is a fitting name for a villa with amazing views of the surrounding hills and Kandy area. Don's team at the villa were helpful and (especially Mr Chaminda); we were given local recommendations and they were very responsive to any requests or questions. The villa is a good size - our extended family had plenty of space and most rooms have a private balcony. The children enjoyed watching the monkeys on the roof in the morning. The Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious and we were able to walk to the neighbouring resort for lunch and dinner. Pool was pristine.

Our stay at Somaland was an incredible experience! We were treated like royalty yet felt completely relaxed and like at home. The colonial mansion is very beautiful. Impeccably preserved and kept, luxurious and comfortable, it’s huge and full of exquisite furnishings. Such a rare opportunity to be able to stay in such a magnificent residence with such history, surrounded by peaceful gardens and lush landscape. Our trip was only enhanced by the divine attention and service of Nilani and Gamage. They welcomed us into the home and looked after us like special family members. So thoughtful and kind and fun. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an extraordinary and wonderful experience. Pieter the host was incredibly helpful and attentive with many extra tips along the way. We had a lovely 2 night stay at Thisarn’s villa. A peaceful spot with a lovely aspect and delicious breakfast and dinners prepared by the family. Thisarn took us on a fabulous 6 hour guided rainforest walk - saw many interesting birds, reptiles and plants, together with langurs and a giant squirrel. Lunch by the waterfall was great, with fish foot therapy (if you choose!). The second large waterfall was beautiful for a swim and a reminder of the power of nature! Highly recommend - also a beautiful drive in to Matara from Galle in our rented tuk tuk.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Nilantha et Bilani !! Cest une famille très accueillante et la communication était très facile. Leur maison est très agréable, située dans un environnement paisible, à proximité du lac et de nombreuses randonnées. Les lits des chambres sont très confortables et la grande terrasse ainsi que la grande pièce de vie sont très agréables. On recommande chaleureusement !

I stayed at Riverside for 3 weeks and it was a great stay. The apartment is situated a few km out of Kandy in a small village, which is great as you get to experience real Sri Lankan life, I found the villagers very friendly, often stopping to chat to me. The bus to Kandy is just 10 mins walk away. The apartment is lovely, very spacious and with a wonderful large balcony perfect for eating and working. There's an outside plug so you can plug in your laptop. Hiran and family are lovely, Hiran is happy to help with any problems and the breakfast cooked by his wife is delicious and different most days. I'd definitely recommend this apartment and I'd stay again also being a solo woman traveller I felt safe at all times.

This is the most beautiful place I have visited in Sri Lanka!! The location is SO serene and beautiful. Lush vegetation, surrounded by mountains and waterfalls nearby. The road was quite good to get to the homestay, More than all of this Wasantha and her husband are greatly hospitable. She made the BEST local authentic food with home grown vegetables and fruits. Then we went to the local waterfalls, where you can even get a free fish massage in the water! You can exhaust your camera roll taking pictures here!! All I can just say, "Absolutely Amazing!!!!!", "Memorable!!"

We rented this place for 2 weeks and it was amazing. Hosts were really helpful and friendly. Place is very clean and all interior and furnitures were very comfortable. Situated in a very clam place perfect for long holiday with family
