IF YOUR DOG IS JOINING YOU, please provide advanced notice, a $25/night pet fee for the first 4 nights (max$100), that rabies vaccination records be provided at check in, and that your dog have access to a crate for times that you must leave him/her behind! Our beautiful area offers a variety of activities including a scenic town beach a short walk down the road, hiking trails for all level, antique shops, great restaurants, seasonal fairs, and orchards.

Enjoy the Old Farm cottage, a studio apartment on our small homestead in the beautiful Lakes Region. It’s a perfect spot for couples, small families, or traveling nurses. We are within 20 minutes to many beaches, including Lake Winnipesaukee, and provide easy access to head south to the ocean or north to the mountains. You will have your own separate parking/entrance, but are welcome to enjoy our cozy fire pit, stylish treehouse, and backyard access to the network of snowmobile trails.

The Portland Peninsula, which includes the historic Old Port and the downtown arts district, is less than a 10-minute drive across the bridge. The perfect spot for a couple or a fun friend getaway! Several excellent dining spots, coffee shops, and markets are all within walking distance from the house. Bike rentals are 2 blocks away! The local beach is a 5-minute drive /10-minute bike ride.

Starting in 2025, we will allow 1 dog without charge. You will be charged $40/stay for a second dog. Please supply information on breed and size.
