The cottage was beautiful and set in such lovely surroundings, we didn’t want to leave. Charles has thought of everything in terms of what you’d need for a home from home stay. We will definitely come back

We had a 3 night stay as 2 families with small children. House was great, big space, great outdoor areas. The venue is clearly geared towards large parties, stag or hen perhaps which it is perfect for. For us as a young family it was a great base to use whilst exploring nearby York. Plenty to keep children entertained at the house. A great stay for our getaway

The house is fantastic, I'd say the photos don't do it justice. There were 8 in our party but there was more than enough space for everyone. Caroline was a great host from the moment we placed the booking giving us all the information we needed and always answered any questions within minutes. Caroline even told us when the house was available for us to check in which was a couple of hours before the check in time stated which was very nice. The hot tub was also a nice extra to relax in after walking around through the day, this was our first time in Hornsea but we'll be visiting again and hopefully we'll be able to book Milton House again, thanks again Catherine.

As fabulous as expected. Ideal space for two couples, high spec accommodation with lots of room to relax . The kitchen is small if you intend to self cater but the facilities and equipment are excellent. We spent most of the time sat in the dining room watching the peacocks who wandered up to the window each day to be admired. Played tennis and walked into the nearby village along a public footpath 50 mins to a very good pub ( Dawnay Arms ) and evenings in the hot tub . Thoroughly enjoyed it, the host ( Lucy ) is onsite and is welcoming and supportive with communication without any intrusion . No hesitation recommending.

From the moment we booked the property to the time we checked out, the service was outstanding! As soon as the booking was confirmed, the owner got in touch to check the number of guests so they could arrange the beds for our convenience. When we arrived, the property was beautifully presented, and we were warmly welcomed by the owner. It was spotlessly clean, tastefully furnished, and perfectly decorated. The fridge was stocked with milk and wine, fresh bread, and some breakfast items were thoughtfully prepared for our comfort. The hot tub was warm, clean, and in great working order. We had a truly lovely time staying with family and friends. We will definitely return if we ever stay in York again. I cannot recommend this property enough to anyone looking for a place to stay in York. Thank you!

Beautiful property with the added bonus of a hot tub in the private garden space! Beds and bedding were so comfy, and the high ceilings with huge windows had the sunlight filling the rooms! The property is within a 5 min walk into Pickering centre with plenty of restaurants and a yummy fish and chip shop just up the road!! Loads to do in the local area and within a 30 min drive whether that's walking, cycling, a trip to a local market town or the beach! We love this area!!

Arrived with 8 friends and instantly fell in love with the place, everything was clean and prepared with instructions and recommendations on food and activities in the local area, spent every night enjoying ourselves rather in the hot tub or living room playing games and was an overall great experience.

Brilliant location, everything right on the door step, house decor to high standard, the house had every amenity you would ever need and more, the glass collection covered every type of drink! Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to stay right in the centre

The most amazing cabin in a peaceful location. we had all the amenities we could ask for. the hot tub and fire pit really made the stay something special. We'll be back!

Really lovely overnight stay and the host was great with instructions and information. Only small issue was a bit of noise from the neighbours and a slightly strange smell nearby but that wasn’t anything to do with the host or cabin itself. Would love to stay again!

We stayed here as a part of my partners birthday celebrations. This was our first time staying somewhere like this and the lodge was everything we could have wished for and more!! The check-in process was clear and easy. The lodge was well decorated and furnished, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed to have a great, relaxing weekend. The location was perfect, so beautiful and peaceful. The hot tub was an obvious stand out for us, very warm and relaxing. Overall our stay was perfect and we could not fault our lodge and are already discussing coming back later in the year! We have also recommended to our families who are also interested.

Had a lovely 3 night stay at Louise's place. Hot tub was amazing! Comfy and clean place with everything you need. Lovely and well kept holiday park too. Host was very helpful. Would definitely recommend 👌

This place is exactly as described and as per the photos. We had to check in a little later due to a family emergency but it was no problem at all. The lodge was clean and fully equipped with everything needed for a stay. The hot tub was amazing and Donna was really friendly and recommended some great places to visit. A great place to stay and highly recommended!

The Niblet is in a beautiful hillside position. Watching the wildlife from the hottub (Rabbits, Red Kite, Lambs, horses) was wonderful creating the was the most relaxing retreat. A great location to explore the North York moors.

Just returned from a lovely weekend in the lodge. The lodge was very cosy, lovely log burner. Private and peaceful location. All amenities provided. Would definitely return.
