This spacious apartment has been lovingly restored and styled by its artist owners and features their original artworks (paintings/lights). The apartment has solid oak flooring, antique Persian rugs and a combination of period French and contemporary designer furniture which contributes to the apartment's special character. A stunning set of 18th century chateau doors divide the living and bedrooms and provide the 'wow factor' of this charming find. The city's top eateries are a stone's throw away : Roots, The Star Inn The City, Betty's, Skosh, Partisan, Le Cochon Aveugle, as well as numerous pubs and bars; a gentle stroll back home at night. The beautifully restored medieval buildings of Stonegate and the Shambles provide the perfect setting for some last minute shopping. Cosy ground floor apartment with free parking on the driveway. The apartment is on the grounds of our main family residence but is completely separate with it’s own private entrance, accessed through the garden gate. We are located in a quiet cul-de-sac just over 5 minutes drive from York city centre and York Racecourse and we are also situated on a direct bus route to both city centre and racecourse. We love hosting through Airbnb and we look forward to meeting you and your guests!
