Cheerful 3 bedroom cottage on the Allegheny River

We built the summer cottage in 2006, for a summer home stayed on. We lived in the cottage 8 years when we wanted a bigger house. We love it year around. We are isolated with 3 neighbors (not close) and the river at our front door. Good boating, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, fishing, swimming , hiking, bird watching (with a eagle nest across the river). December through February, it is best if you come with 4 wheel drive. Having said that , we keep the road plowed and the hill sanded.

Whether you are looking to hike a trail in Clear Creek State Forest, ride your bike on the Allegheny River Trail, take in the view of Freedom Falls, or simply relax on the deck and enjoy the sounds of nature, there are an abundance of activities for you to enjoy in and around Kennerdell, PA. We are located 11 miles off of Interstate 80 & 12 miles off of State Route 322.

Private & Peaceful - Close to Oil Creek State Park

The “Kaneville Lodge” is close to Oil City,Titusville and Franklin. It is near both Oil Creek State Park and Two Mile Run County Park. Hunting, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, biking, hiking opportunities etc... abound in our area.The kitchen is complete with dishes, pots and pans, full sized appliances and many extras so your short or long term stay will be very comfortable.Your well behaved dog(s) is welcome too (fee). Enjoy nature, the woods and maybe even some wildlife while you are visiting.

Built in 1872 Historic Step Back In Time!

Vintage Victorian home built in 1872 with a warm historic feel. Beautiful view of the Allegheny river. Kitchen w/island seating for 4 and two additional tables. Large formal dining room. Two cozy elegant living rooms. There are 2 full baths, 1st floor w/large walk in shower & 2nd floor has a bathtub/shower and a 1/2 bath off large bedroom. Plenty of towels & blankets. All essentials. There are several TV's that you can stream with the Wifi. Due to Covid-19 no more than 10 guests are allowed.

Peaceful Country Stay

Country setting surrounded by working farms. We offer a two bedroom home with very large screened-in porch. Enjoy morning coffee on the porch as you watch the cows come in. Very peaceful, quiet setting with large yard. Get a retro feel in the pink bathroom. Recently upgraded laminate flooring throughout the house. Eat on China plates in the formal dining room or use paper plates with access to a grill. Less than 15 minutes to the Grove city outlets and 6 miles to the state game lands.

Enjoy your morning coffee on the screened in front porch. During the day you can fish, kayak/canoe, wade/swim or just sit and relax watching the water go by. Sit by a campfire in the evenings enjoying the fresh country air.
