My family and I have just returned from a lovely stay at Lynwood House. Lynwood House was clean and modern while retaining period features, it had everything we needed to feel at home. It was an easy walk to all the local amenities and some great walks from the doorstep. Communication was great too. We would highly recommend this wonderful House and would return in a flash.

We have stayed at Chert Cottage a few times now and it never fails to be a complete delight. Super clean and welcoming, always with a delicious cake and dog treats. Very comfortable beds and everything you could possibly need including a great garden with seating. We will book again as it’s such a gem and perfectly located.

Back from a 4 night stay at Callow Barn. An outstanding property, immaculate and very spacious with the most spectacular views across the valley. Very well equipped and comfortable. We loved the rural setting,watching the lambs play and pheasant visits. Even saw a deer. The host is very helpful and informative. My friends and I agree that this is our favourite property that we have stayed.The area is stunning,so much to see and do without traveling miles.

Four of us stayed, two couples and a dog. The accommodation was excellent, very clean with everything we needed for our stay. The view from the livingroom was fantastic.

My sister and I had a lovely stay following a bereavement . Jess was very thoughtful as we arrived to a sympathy card and some chocolates . Was very accommodating with holding our booking whilst a family member was poorly . Wortley Barn was the perfect retreat for some much needed time and space.

The place is in a perfect location if you want to enjoy the views or go on challenging hikes. Hosts are great, very responsive and super friendly. They made the process for a brand new airbnb user very easy. The house was extremely clean and exactly as described.

Nice house, well fitted out and lovely location

Colin's place was lovely, we felt right at home! Loved all the quirky collections around the house. Everything in the house was clearly thought out especially the binder! It had everything from house manuals to places to eat and explore around Thurlstone/Penistone. The location was an ideal base for nature walks/hikes as it's only a few steps from trans-penine trail. It was lovely to meet Colin on our way out too!

Only our 2nd time using AirBNB so we are still new to it. Excellent communication from our host and caravan was in a lovely peaceful location on site. Site was well located for exploring the area and two excellent pubs within a short walk. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay. Impressive pool, garden furniture and landscaping to make the most of the sun. Ideal location for touring local sites. Izzy and partner were very welcoming. Would definitely recommend.

A beautifully clean and well equipped stay, hosts were out of this world and so attentive. Providing us some baby bits to assist with our stay was so helpful and kind. We would recommend this stay to anybody and we will definitely visit again. The site in which the accommodation is based has a pool on site, little shop and a fantastic children’s area which makes it so family friendly. Our stay and the accommodation was faultless.

We had a wonderful stay at the Farmhouse - the postcode took us to the farm, but the cottages were close by and easy to find. The kitchen was very well stocked with crockery and there was plenty of space for 10. The kids loved the swimming pool and football field. Highly recommended.

Biggest asset was as a peaceful base for a week’s walking in the White Peak. Great location for Bakewell and Hartington areas. Good mix of scenery and plenty of dog friendly pubs. Pool a bonus. Accommodation was comfortable and a couple of maintenance issues were resolved without fuss.

We had a wonderful stay at Annabel’s and will definitely be going back asap! It was perfectly peaceful with gorgeous surroundings and was even better than the pictures! The pool was much bigger than we thought and was such a joy to have, the decking area was huge with stunning views and the garden truly magical! This was great value for money! Annabel was a fantastic host and very helpful and friendly and the animals were all very friendly too! The cats didn’t come to close though as we had our dog, who had a dream just roaming free! Thanks Annabel, be back soon !

An excellent and very pleasant place to stay, at a good price. The accommodation was thoughtfully presented, and pristine – the high standard of cleanliness was much appreciated by us. The buildings, the farm, the village and the surroundings are all wonderful and we felt most fortunate to be there. Our hosts were very pleasant too. Lovely stay, cottage is hard to find at first as the address listed doesn’t take you directly to it. There is no parking for the property however parking is available on the road adjacent or in the village which is just a 2 minute walk. Some gifts were left which were a lovely touch and the beds were very comfy. The cottage felt very homely and was full of all the basics you need for cooking and cleaning etc. Overall very nice stay compared to some of my previous trips and I have recommended the cottage to family and friends.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at the Coachman’s Hideaway. It’s in a beautiful setting and Jasmine is a great host, very responsive to messages and any question and the cosy property is spotlessly clean.

Our third visit to Peverel House and fifth time in Tideswell. The house is perfectly situated, walkable to a couple of pubs, a cafe, a chippy and local shops. Tideswell is peaceful and beautiful and we always enjoy the surroundings. Easy to get to local attractions, Bakewell , Buxton etc. This time we visited Matlock, Mam Tor and Derwent Dam as it was a shorter than usual visit. The house is comfortable, well thought out and perfect for our family of four with two older kids. They love the football pitch /park in the village which they can walk to safely. We enjoyed a lovely meal at the Merchants Yard and breakfast at the Tideswell Lounge. All less than a few minutes walk from the house. Thank you so much for another wonderful few days.

We had a wonderful long weekend stay at Sarah and Mark's property. The location was ideal for us, as we were visiting family in the area, but we were also able to enjoy serenity at the cottage between visiting. From the cottage we could walk our dogs peacefully up the road (a huge bonus for us as they need a quiet life), and I managed a long run from the doorstep - discovered some fab trails. The cottage had everything we needed and overall was a very relaxing stay. Sarah and Mark were responsive throughout too, always helpful and friendly - they even offered a late checkout, as no guests staying directly after us, which was incredibly thoughtful. Would definitely come back again. Thank you!

Lisa was very proactive with communications and even provided milk as we couldn’t get any on route. Beautiful surroundings albeit maybe a little remote for some. Worked well for us as we chose this and only 10 mins to Middlewood Tram P & R

We had an excellent stay at Debbie & Lorna's place. We were travelling up to the area for a family gathering/funeral but Debbie made check in seamless with clear instructions and let us check in early to allow time to get ready before the gathering. The house itself was lovely and clean - much larger than the photos showed! And was only a 5 minute drive to the local shops and garden centre which was really convenient for us. Will definitely book again when seeing our relatives up north 😊 Thank you for being excellent hoasts! 😊

A beautiful property in the most peaceful of locations - being in the garden, surrounded by countryside and the sound of birds tweeting brought the tranquility that we needed. The property itself was perfect, it had everything we needed and suited its surroundings perfectly. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the en-suites were a great addition! The upstairs showers were insane! The lemon drizzle cake (my mum’s favourite) and the doggy supplies were a lovely touch from Matt - snuggling up on the sofa with a cup of tea and sweet treats was the icing on the cake.

We had a brilliant stay at The Lookout Cottages, it was a great location and stunning setting looking over the valley. The cottage is lovely, clean and was kitted out with everything we needed. We loved sitting in the garden for breakfasts and dinners. Emily and Tom were really helpful and responsive. Would definitely stay again.

The cottage was very cozy and clean. The beds were very comfortable and the duvets and pillows were good quality and smelt fresh and clean. There was everything there that we needed along with some additional finishing touches making our stay most pleasant. The road it’s on is quite busy but the double glazing meant it didn’t disturb us and we were in a great location to visit chatsworth house,Buxton,Bakewell and Mam tor. Will definitely return in the future Andy communicated very well with us from booking to leaving.
