The brookside cottage is in an idyllic location next to a brook which was perfect to wake up to birdsong and a stone’s from Chatsworth Park. Becky was responsive to any enquiries throughout our stay and really flexible and understanding with us. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and the kitchen well-stocked which was great to make dinner and breakfast.

Amazing host! We have a lovely bank holiday weekend away with the family. Ropa left us everything we needed, from a travel cot to a variety of games to keep us occupied for our long weekend away. We would definitely recommend this place and we can’t wait to return!

We loved our few days in Pamela's cottage, the location is ideal for walking into Bakewell as well as driving to other places to visit, such as Chatsworth House which was wonderful. Pamela was an excellent trend lunch considerate and attentive host, answering any questions efficiently and checking in with us during our stay. I would absolutely recommend this cottage for a short stay in Bakewell.

We had a lovely stay at the Milking Parlor over Easter. Great spot with amazing views. The cottage was well equiped, comfy bed and everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We visited Bakewell, Haddon hall & did a 6 mile loop around Chatsworth, its estate & villages on a lovely sunny Easter Sunday.

My daughter and I had a wonderful weekend in Amanda’s cottage. The cottage was absolutely immaculate when we arrived. Amanda had left us some tasty treats as a welcome gift, which we appreciated so much! She even left some treats for our dogs. The cottage is just beautiful, it’s so cosy and welcoming. Everything was just perfect, even down to the wonderfully perfect white bedding and the feather duvets. Amanda was so helpful and friendly and did her absolute best to make our stay fabulous! The cottage is situated close to so many beautiful attractions, such as Chatsworth House, Monsal Head etc. The view from the beautiful cottage garden is just wonderful, it is so peaceful and quiet. The garden was safe and secure for our dogs. I would highly recommend Lark Cottage to anyone who appreciates the beauty of being in the heart of the Derbyshire Dales, waking up to the distant sound of lambs bleating, calves mooing and birdsong…. Back from a 4 night stay at Callow Barn. An outstanding property, immaculate and very spacious with the most spectacular views across the valley. Very well equipped and comfortable. We loved the rural setting,watching the lambs play and pheasant visits. Even saw a deer. The host is very helpful and informative. My friends and I agree that this is our favourite property that we have stayed.The area is stunning,so much to see and do without traveling miles.

Lisa was very proactive with communications and even provided milk as we couldn’t get any on route. Beautiful surroundings albeit maybe a little remote for some. Worked well for us as we chose this and only 10 mins to Middlewood Tram P & R

Had a lovely stay at Gramp’s! Surrounded by beautiful scenery it’s so tranquil and cosy. Would definitely stay here again as it’s a great location for walks 😊

The bungalow is lovely and has everything needed. Messaged the host letting her know we would be late in checking in and she sent us some easy instructions to get into the bungalow.
