Beasley Backwater Retreat on Lovely Lake Eufaula

The Beasley Backwater Retreat is located on beautiful Lake Eufaula, between the historic towns of Abbeville and Eufaula. The house, built as a vacation house by my grandparents in 1963, is pretty much vintage, with some more modern conveniences, such as microwave, dishwasher, HVAC, internet access, and a Keurig. Located on a peaceful area of the lake, with a private dock and nice neighbors, it's a great place to get away from town and create fond memories--it certainly has been for us! Enjoy!

Quaint cottage located on the grounds of the beautiful and historical Covington Home that was built in 1902. Headland, AL better known as the “Gem of the Wiregrass” was rated one of the safest cities in AL in 2019 and is a designated Main Street community. The cottage is walking distance to the square where you will find soft music playing as you stroll the streets, picturesque oak trees, stylish boutiques and cuisine to fit any taste pallet. It is less than 10 miles to the Dothan Airport.

Welcome to our home on Lake Blackshear! **We are THE house for Christmas so please be aware we will have lots of friends & family here for Christmas eve/day if you are looking to book either of those nights.** We are located in a cove at the northern tip of the lake, surrounded by trees and beautiful nature. There is 1 queen bed, one queen sleeper sofa, and 1 futon (suitable for 1-2 small kids). It is DUCK/DEER HUNTING SEASON, so please be aware you may hear gunshots on weekend mornings.
