アートの聖地・直島の、海辺にある一棟貸しコテージです。海側と山側の２棟あり、Kaiは海側の建物になります。直島では珍しい敷地内の無料駐車スペースをご利用頂けます。 建物は独立した2階建てになっており、1階ベッドルームではベッド6台、2階和室には布団2組まで追加してご利用いただけますので、6名～8名様までお泊まりいただけます。 ファミリーやお友達での旅行はもちろん、ファミリータイプのキッチンや洗濯機もありますので、学生さんの合宿、ゼミ旅行などにもご利用頂けます。 OHANAから黄カボチャまで徒歩3分、最寄りのバス停からも徒歩2分と、直島にゆっくり滞在しながらの観光の拠点に最適です。 地元工務店が手掛けた木材をふんだんに使用した室内で直島のゆったりした時間をお楽しみ下さい。 またオハナの宿泊者様向けに直島観光ツアーを始めました。直島の美術館などは事前に予約などをしないといけない場所が多く、ツアーを利用してくださる方にはチケットの手配や車での送迎、さらにはレンタサイクルでの直島観光など、もっと充実した直島観光を提供できればと思います。 ツアーのお問い合わせはメールにて承っております。

Ricefields, Rivers and Mountains

This house is a beautiful blend of traditional and modern making it convenient but also authentically Japanese. Mountains and ricefields are beside you, the Shimanto River can be heard. The ground floor is all yours. It's spacious with a large tatami sleeping room that can become two. The A/C is only in one room if the doors are closed. There is no central heating. Restaurants are within 10min or you can prepare local foods in your own equipped kitchen. It’s designed for long and short stays.

Beautiful Traditional House - はなれ

Embrace the “slow life.” The space is a renovated private bungalow next to our main house. Surrounded by trees and quiet, it's an oasis to unwind, unplug, have lazy breakfasts and nap in the hammock. For more active travelers, it's a good base to explore the area. We are 9 km from Shimanto City restaurants and shopping and an easy drive to activities on Shimanto River or the beach. We do require a 2-night minimum but highly encourage you to slow down and stay longer.

The accommodation has a sauna, open-air bath, cypress bath, BBQ grill, and glamping experience. You can enjoy a variety of activities for all seasons. Guests can enjoy nature with an authentic BBQ grill while gazing at the river, as well as a barrel sauna followed by an open-air bath or cypress bath. There is a period in October when a 3-night stay is possible. Located in a quiet, highly convenient residential area, 2DK residence for just two people offers a spacious feel with a view of the garden from the Japanese-style room. The city center, the Dome, Peace Park, and the JR station are all within walking distance. By using the JR line or bus, you can easily make day trips to various cities. Various long-term stay discounts are also available.

The observatory where the view of Kuma is seen. There is naturalness at 10 minutes at the abundant place by car from the center of Kuma.(It's possible to welcome and send off.) Barbecue is possible outside while seeing the night view and a starry sky in the evening. (Meal and the ingredients will be customer's bringing in.) It's possible to use a kitchen. It's possible to look a wonderful sea of cloud to be lucky in the morning.
