In Kirkjubæjarklaustur is also a Sport Center with a thermal swimming pool and hot tubs.

Our porch gives you a unique view of two glaciers Vatnajökull and Mýrdalsjökull. The view of northern lights is amazing from the porch in the winter time. The moss covered lava surroundings are rich with berries and birdlife in the summer time.

Kársstaðir

Kársstaðir is nicely located only 5 minutes from the town Kirkjubæjarklaustur. It is a 25 year old summerhouse that we have renovated to more modern, yet romantic Scandinavian farm house decor. The location is quite unique, in the middle of volcanic pseudos with a perfect view over Vatnajökull to the east and Mýrdalsjökull to the west.

Snæbýli Cottage 1

A warm and newly built cottage that is located between Vik and Kirkjubæjarklaustur. It is 28m2 in size and is split into a bathroom and then a open space where is the kitchen, a living room and then a corner where the double bed is. The cottage is by the farm Snæbýli 1 which is the last farm before heading on the mountainroad (F210).
