This snug, hand-built cottage features large windows and a deck looking toward Hague Lake and the rocky scapes of Turtle Island. It’s tucked away in a small grove of towering Cedar and Fir trees, but in the heart of uptown Mansons Landing with stores and a bakery cafe just steps away. It is ten min. walk to swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking at kid-friendly Sandy Beach, or a 15 min. walk down to an ocean beach and Mansons Lagoon. Welcome to The Sea Grass Studio Suite. Guests are a 10 min walk to downtown Campbell River where you will find many quaint shops, cafes, and restaurants to enjoy. The Quadra ferry is a short walk away and is a great chance to explore a beautiful part of the Discovery Islands. Our suite offers a peek a boo view of the ocean and mountain landscapes that make for a stunning sunset backdrop. Along with your own private outdoor seating area to relax after a day of sightseeing.

Our " floathouse" has everything a guest could want, privacy and a beautiful waterfront location on the Whaletown Lagoon. There is a shared family dock for launching your kayaks, swimming, or just relaxing and watching the changing of the tides. Its vintage ambience combines much of its original historical nature and water travels with modern updates. A former bunk house for hand logging camps and part of our floating household, its traveling days are now over.

For all the skier or the guest that want to ski or hike Mt Washington it is only a short 40 min.drive away. Our suite is in our primary residence.
