Charmaine and Steve are the hosts at Halletts Valley Hideaway - a luxurious self-contained cottage tucked away amidst vineyards on the outskirts of Tanunda, in the heart of the beautiful Barossa Valley. The property was rebuilt from the ground up in 2017, blending original timber beams and local stone with contemporary design to offer guests a haven of peace and comfort. We just couldn't resist this property... so quirky and full of character. So we added to our 'stable' and it has become our latest project. It reminds us of the farm, of fresh hay, horses and cattle. In fact we have decked it out with so much love...antiqued leather sofa, rustic home made tables straight from the shearing shed workshop. So much history there! Original art works by Jessie. Stallion Box, Bungaree Station, Clare Valley

The Stallion Box is one of several converted accommodation buildings located on Bungaree Station. Once the stallion's stable, this self contained studio cottage is the perfect retreat for a couple with a queen bed, kitchenette and ensuite bathroom. Breakfast provisions (e.g. eggs, bacon, juice, cereal) are included. Guests can explore the historic station, visit local wineries and other attractions or simply relax in front of the fire. Multiple night stays are discounted by up to 20%.
