Mainslea is located in the beautiful setting of Dunure opposite a ruined castle with amazing views of Arran and a short walk to the beach and picturesque harbour. The property is very spacious and is ideal for family gatherings and parties. The 7 seater hot tub is very popular with guest. The family room is located downstairs so suited to anyone with mobility issues. The studio is a self contained unit at the top of the garden with it's own bathroom and kitchen area. We welcome dogs too.

Across the road from a play park/field & beach. 5 minute walk to shop. 20min walk to local pub. We advise all customers to get travel insurance when travelling to an island.

Perfect for couples who want to explore the area or just relax and unwind. Close by is Culzean Castle, the beautiful Ayrshire coast, Robert Burns Museum, the Dark Sky Park, Galloway Forest Park and Ayr Racecourse. There are also some world-class golf courses. Kirkmichael has an excellent pub, café, shop and bowling green.

Sleeps 6 – 3 large double bedrooms Part of the former castle stable block, Groom’s Cottage is one of four set around a courtyard. Take two steps up to enter the spacious open plan living area which features a warming open log fire. Head up the wooden stairs to discover two king-size double bedrooms, whilst up a further five steps is a third king-size room. All bedrooms boast an en-suite shower room and many rooms have views over the castle grounds.
