Good location for everything in the hills. Some gravel roads to get to the property which makes it quiet and private. Joann was a very good host.

Historic apartment with lots of character in the heart of Custer. It was immaculate and well-provisioned with thoughtful touches like snacks and a stocked coffee bar. Great restaurants right outside your door, perfect launch point for all the Black Hills have to offer. Will definitely look to stay here again!

The price was so good in this place that we figured there would be a catch, but we were wrong. This was by far the best Airbnb that we have ever booked! It was absolutely the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed. We loved the extras like the gym, game room, and in-unit washer and dryer. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. The bed was quite comfortable, and the whole place was peaceful and quiet. We would love to stay here again next time we visit the Black Hills!

Great place to stay

I really liked this place. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I read some reviews saying it was in an assisted living complex, wondering whether Airbnb guests would be intermingled with assisted living residents and nurses, but these apartments are a separate and great repurposing of an empty building converted to what seems to be some general short and long-term rentals. It has everything a person could want for practical living and served as a great home base to complete my business in the region. I enjoyed the contactless check-in and out, and the ease of living in the space. The only down sides: non-cable type TVs always confuse me and vinyl mattress covers cause me night sweating. Overall, these are minor preference issues when compared to the big picture, which was a convenient place to stay, with practical amenities, for a fair price. Thank you!

We loved our stay! Great location and communication!

Honestly it was just a little confusing to locate it since it’s a remodeled nursing home, but with it came everything you’d find in a high income neighborhood. Quiet, peaceful, no problems, easy parking, stores everywhere. Most importantly the room was just so nice to stay in.

Chase was great to work with and very responsive, checking in and checkin out was easy. Great location for our hunting trip, lots of areas to hunt. Looked like they were in the process of doing some updating which will be nice when finished. Thanks!

First time our family has been skiing, 6 people on this visit. Our entire experience in the Terry Peak area was great! Danielle was proactive at getting us the information we needed. Stay was as expected and the condo was great. We didn't need Danielle for anything during our stay but I felt confident she was available if needed. Highly recommend and would choose to stay here again anytime we are back!

Excellent place to stay. Soft beds, clean, lots of games to play. Problems with the lock-but VERY responsive service, VERY friendly. Great super host!!!!!

Stayed here for a family ski trip. Super close to the slopes, but not able to actually ski to the lift.” Great amenities as we had access to hot tub, pool, and sauna in the room. Exterior was under construction but it didn’t hinder our trip. Overall, satisfied.

This was such a pleasant stay for my husband and I. We loved how close it was to the ski resort and other areas around. The Barefoot Resort employees were also very accommodating!

Great place to stay, especially if you are skiing at Terry Peak. We enjoyed how close it was to the lodges. Very easy check-in and checkout. Clean space with very comfortable beds. Would stay again!

we had the best stay in Sioux Falls. Sheilas place was in walking distance to UFS where my daughter's competition was. close to everything and Walgreens right across the street. the house is off a busy road but has a great back yard and the neighborhood is beautiful. Sheila has Wonderful sites to visit for local events and I ran a local road race and my husband and I went to an awesome show. If you want a good 1 mile walk to the city it's beautiful and we felt very safe. or an easy drive. my older son Loved the local skate park and mer several great kids. the house is just as described and more. the kitchen is fully stocked and everything works well. Sheila was so responsive and if we are ever in Sioux Falls again I would book again In a heartbeat!

Our trip was around 1300 miles. Nicki was very accessible and met us to check in and show us around. We had everything we needed and felt right at home. Nicki provided us with lots of information on things to do and great places to eat. Would love to go back some day. We had a wonderful stay.

There were two couples and a young adult. The biggest plus was the layout, with two bedrooms upstairs and one down for him. The game room was convenient extra space. Comfortable home, plenty of HOT water for 5 morning showers, EXCELLENT location for all of our touristy excursions. We were gone most of the time but when there, we enjoyed using the back deck. Great laundry room. Although, in a way it felt like we were visiting a relative's house. There were tubs in the closet of the room I was in, so suitcases could not be put away. It just seems like we were visiting in a place where people live. In other rentals we have used this was not the case. The home was relatively clean, but does need some deferred maintenance. All-in-all, though it was definitely worth the price and in a quiet neighborhood, so if it fits your needs, Book It!

Such a cool place! It’s very evident the effort that someone has put in to maintain the historical charm of this home while also making it a functional for a group to stay. Loved the attention to detail and all the historical facts and literature in the home. The beds were quality great mattresses. Everything we needed in the kitchen was available and easily assessable. Host was communicative and helped us with a short notice impromptu check in. Would recommend a stay here.

We were going to bring our dog, but chose not to at the last minute, but the yard and all the little extras for him were so thoughtful. Very clean throughout the house and we were able to spread out to relax.

This home in Sioux Falls was absolutely perfect for our family! We had 7 of us and there was plenty of room for everyone. We came into town for a wedding and the location was just a few minutes away from the venue which made everything so easy for us. Molly was incredibly nice and very responsive before and during our stay. I wish I could give this place more than 5-STARS! We will be back the next time we visit town.
