It was such a great experience at Aryan’s place. 1.First thing was Kalpana di….so polite, extremely good cook, food was amazing , she was always helpful in every aspect. 2.Location was really great, 1 km from rock garden, very peaceful place with beautiful surroundings with no crowd 3.Rooms were same as in pictures 4.Experience was like in home not in hotel

Swaroop’s house is beautifully curated with a lot of thought about prospective guests. It is huge and can house easily 10-12 people. The food provided was homemade and delectable. Swaroop and his team were helpful and made us feel right at home. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. My one warning would be: if you are driving here- please note the last 5 mins of the drive is wobbly and can make going out by car a task. Walking is fine though. Recommend 🌸

What's special about this place? EVERYTHING!! 1. Hospitality: to be honest ...it didn't feel like we were away from home for even once. The owners are very warm hearted, loving and take care of everything without even leaving anything to complain about. They even invited us in for traditional drink - Tongba (I am sorry, if i have murdered the spelling). It was really inspiring to see how they have preserved their traditional values like this. 2. Location: This place little bit off the main road which leads to the most amazing feature of this place - serenity. You will listen to the rooster at 4 in the morning, the moment sun rises , birds starts chirping. The impeccable view of sunrays falling on the kanchenjunga peak is beyond explanation. And the lush green surroundings with Rhododendrons all over the place will make you fall in love with this place. 3. Food: They cook the food with lot of love and nutrients. Although, sikkim is an organic state but their food quality will make you lick your fingers everytime you take a bite. Cleanliness: Sparkling clean!! That's all I want to say. I just want to give one example about how they took care of every teenie tiny thing when we were there: "They put one pair of scissors for cutting the coffee sachets in the room. " I have never seen such gesture anywhere. I just loved this place .

If you’re looking for a remote getaway that offers privacy and the charm of village and farm living, this is the perfect place. My friends and I absolutely loved our stay here. The property is beautifully maintained, and the hospitality provided by the host and their family was exceptional. From the homemade, organic food to the locally crafted liquor, everything was delicious and healthy. The barbecue prepared by the host was a highlight—absolutely “yum yum”! They also went above and beyond to assist us with local sightseeing, making our experience even more memorable. A special mention goes to the host’s sweet grandmother, their lovely niece Neema, and their adorable dog Snoopy, who added so much warmth and joy to our stay. Thank you, Dwakapa, for an unforgettable experience in Yuksom. We’d love to visit again someday!

This was my first visit to Darjeeling with family and Reyso was the perfect choice that allowed my to experience the local culture and a mix of British influence.. The homestay is perfectly located where you can wakeup to see the beautiful valleys and Kanchenjunga (if luck favoors) and also enjoy the city buzz which is hardly within 2km. The best part about Ujjwal and Sarita aunty was their hospitality and the way they make you feel at home. Ujjawal you are doing a brilliant job with your art and music expedition and the message that you pass to retain the originality of local culture was quite thoughtful.. will definitely want to visit back to Reyso on my next trip ..

There are three reasons to book the place location, location and location. It's the heart of Gangtok & is close to every possible amenities & attractions. Apart from the initial wrong location glitch then we arrived, rest all went smooth. If you are a light sleeper then you'll find the hustle of MG Marg distressing. We dearly missed fully functional kitchen. But all this is made for by the location of the house.

A big thumbs up for this family who are running such a beautiful, well maintained and cozy AirBnB in the heart of Gangtok. Being about 1 km from MG Marg, you are away from the hustle of the touristy road yet closeby. Bunch of local shops next door help you with daily needs. Above all, Nima, her kids, her mom and aunts are always prompt and proactive to make your stay comfortable. The home made food was delicious. The kids were the ones to receive us and they did a fabulous job at such a young age in helping us check in with our almost a dozen bags, and later on we're always on call to help us with anything. The WiFi was not working due to bad weather, but the family was prompt to get it fixed soon. Overall, a wonderful place to stay in Gangtok. We would love to stay again when we visit Gangtok.

The stay was very comfortable. Perfect for a family. Everything was very neat and clean and the place was spacious as well. The location was also pretty good as it was nearby to all the gangtok main points. We are very happy to have opted HOUSE OF MEESU for our stay in Gangtok.

We had a wonderful 4-day stay at Payong House in Gangtok during our family vacation. The homestay was extremely comfortable, clean, and truly family- and kid-friendly. The food served was tasty and homely, which made us feel well taken care of. The location was also very convenient for exploring Gangtok. The hosts were warm and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for families visiting Gangtok!

Our stay at Sonam’s Place (Zimchung 101) was absolutely wonderful! The home is exactly as shown in the photos — thoughtfully furnished with selective and beautiful furniture that gives a cozy and elegant vibe. The property is spotlessly clean, including the linen, rooms, and bathrooms, which made the stay very comfortable. The location is also great — about a 20–30 minute walk to MG Road, and with grocery stores nearby for any essentials. The caretaker was very helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed. Although we didn't meet Sonam ji personally, we truly felt his attentiveness and care through his thoughtful hospitality. We enjoyed cooking chicken and rice in the well-equipped kitchen and spent relaxed evenings watching Netflix. Overall, this is truly one of the best places to stay in Gangtok, and we would love to come back again!

A nice little stay at darjeeling away from Hustle and bustle of the main town where it was congested. Aswath helped to make us confortable from day 1 and he even helped book a taxi for our sightseeing. He suggested places to see and was very responsive for all my questions. On day 1, he even got my zomato delivery since it took me time to reach the place. When I need to take a printout , he took me to another homestay that had a printer. The place is quite far from town and we have to walk to mall road using the bylanes to reach the top, which takes around 20 mins. But once you reach mall road, we can find a host of restaurants and shops. The view from the airbnb is awesome. My daughter got sick with food poisoning and she soiled the sheets. Aswath was very accommodative and suggested medicines to buy for her and showed genuine concern. Even after leaving place, he kept checking on us whether we reached safely. I would highly recommend Aswaths place.

This has to be one of the best AirBnBs I've stayed in. It is a very vintage, classy and storybook-like house with wooden flooring, big rooms and a bathtub. I'm glad I found this property, although it is meant for a large group and we were just 4 in number. I will certainly stay here when I visit Gangtok again. This is right on MG Marg and also offers a beautiful view of the city from the balcony. Big ups for maintaining the property so well.

I had a wonderful time staying at Michele's place! From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was top-notch. Michele greeted us warmly and made sure I had everything I needed to feel at home. The space was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and incredibly comfortable — exactly like the photos, if not better. Little touches like fresh coffee, local recommendations, and quick responses to any questions made all the difference. The location was perfect for exploring the area, but quiet enough for a restful night's sleep. The morning breakfast on the terrace was such a warm gesture by the host. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a welcoming and hassle-free stay. Thank you for such a memorable experience!

Located right next to the DHR Toy Train station however there is a steep walk down to the property which is located in a peaceful residential neighborhood. Two bedrooms with two double beds, a small hall area with colourful lighting and a small box-bed, two tables and 4 chairs, one cozy kitchen with all amenities and a spotless washroom were the amenities. the two beds have inbuilt heaters but since I travelled in April, they were not required. Abhishek and his brother Ashwin even provided us home cooked meals at minimal charges which were much cheaper than the local market rates. The usp of course is the view from the three windows, just amazing and incredibly romantic. Me and my family absolutely loved our stay there. Really felt like home at Abhis stay.

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung hat alles was man benötigt. Sie ist gemütlich und modern eingerichtet. Tshegyal war immer erreichbar und hat uns bei Fragen geholfen. Die Unterkunft liegt in ruhiger Lage, ein bisschen entfernt vom Zentrum. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

The Airbnb truly felt like home. It was a perfect place for all of us to get together. Kunzang was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. I had informed him that we would be arriving early, and he welcomed us with no hesitation. On the day we were leaving, our cab was delayed by a few hours. Kunzang was kind enough to let us stay a bit longer, which we really appreciated. Thank you for hosting us. I’ll definitely recommend this place to others, and I’m already looking forward to booking it again!

Tenjing and Urgen were exceptionally cooperative and helpful, always going the extra mile to share their valuable local insights. My family thoroughly enjoyed the entire stay and left completely satisfied. We hope to visit again soon!

Simply felt like a home away from home. Started off with a wonderful check-in experience, received a very warm welcome. They were always available for any help we required and always fulfilled all our requests. The food was great and had variety. The place was just as described in the listing and matched the photos as shown, with squeaky clean interiors, washroom and linens. They also went beyond just being a host and understood that we felt cooler due to the weather and provided us with warm water for drinking and hot water bags to warm the bed at night. The place is also at a great location at the heart of Mall, so be it hiring cabs for local sight seeing or restaurants it was always at finger tips. It’s opposite to the iconic Keventer’s hotel and very near to Glenary’s. Loved the overall experience and would definitely visit again.

The host: Samridhi is a very responsive and helpful host. The cab driver she referred was super reliable, the tea supplier was excellent. Amenities: The homestay is beautiful, clean and comes with a fully equipped kitchen. Its cozy and very comfortable. It can accommodate upto 3 people. View: The balcony overlooks Happy Valley Tea Estate and the view is gorgeous. Definitely the highlight. Location: Excellent- a 20 minute walk from the centre of the city. Food: Food at the homestay was simple and tasty. The building has multiple flats which makes it a good choice for bigger groups too. I'd definitely recommend Magnolia Homestay to anyone who's visiting Darjeeling.

Home Away From Home: We had an unforgettable five day stay at this charming place. The host was warm, welcoming and always ready to help on need. The room was spotless, cozy, and full of character with lovely wooden interiors that added to the homely vibe with required kitchen appliances. This is hands down one of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed in - its unbeatable location near Darjeeling’s vibrant local markets and shopping. This place truly offers the comforts of home, with a local market experience that adds color and culture to your stay. Words might fall short, but this place truly felt like a HOME away from HOME.
