Had a lovely weekend stay here as first timers in OBX. The airbnb was clean, had a fun and cozy vibe, and felt safe. Our french bulldog felt at home too! Hosts were super friendly and helpful with recommendations on which beaches allow dogs.

Great dog friendly rental in OBX! Having grass and a small fenced yard for late/early potty breaks was so convenient. Our dog relaxed right away on arrival, immediately getting a drink and dog biscuit from the provided bowls. What a rare treat to find a place so special for our four-legged family members. :-D Everything was very clean and comfortable and cozy. Loved reading in the sunroom. The house was stocked with more than we could possibly imagine needing in terms of food and supplies (so it's a bit cluttered and not a lot of space for your own items, but nothing you cannot work around). As others have said, definitely felt more like HOME than a rental and we truly appreciated that! Thanks for sharing your home and for a lovely getaway!

Comfortable house with fantastic water view. We enjoyed watching the eagles and osprey and seeing the stars at night.

We loved the house! It was a perfect spot for myself, three children and our pup. Very clean, well-appointed and spacious. The pool and ping pong tables in the basement were a perfect downtime activity. The beach is very short stroll and the restaurants that we could walk to made the location even more ideal. We hope to return soon!

We loved our stay at Sunrise Surf on the southern Shores! The location was great. The house was even better than expected/than the pictures. Everything was well stocked and we really appreciated that. The heated pool and the hot tub were amazing for our spring break vacation. I would not hesitate to book this again!

If I could give it more stars I would. This is a true gem and a great find. Went for a girls trip/birthday celebration and we LOVED everything about this place. All of the attention to details made this a magical escape. We will all be coming back. The porch is fabulous!

Overall, we had a great stay. Having a gated deck was great with dogs. Beach access was awesome! Parking was clearly labeled and easy to park at. Laundry facility, outdoor shower, and grill were very convenient. The location was quiet (mid-April) given how close the cottages are to a lot of restaurants, shops, and attractions. Whitney was very responsive and helpful!

I had a very enjoyable stay. The cottage was spotless, very clean, beds were comfortable, it was exactly how it is depicted and described. I needed a place to decompress after my dad’s funeral and this was just the place. I traveled with my German Shepherd and we were able to take long walks on the beach right across the street. The host was very responsive to any questions I had and communicated when the place was ready early. Would totally recommend.

Great place to stay. We loved our time here. Great ocean view and quick walk to the beach. Everything was very clean and quiet. We hope to stay here again in the future. Highly recommend!

Ashley was a GREAT host, very responsive and a caring host. Provided high chair requested, allowed an earlier check-in to help accomodate special needs child and was very concern when access lock was having problems and responsive. Problem was pribably our mittle hands tiuching all the numbers. Pool was extremely clean and as described in pictures and notes. Had family of 17, 8 adults and 9 kids ranging in age from newborn to 13. Bedrooms were good size to accomodate and all suites having own bathroom was wonderful for 5 families.

This house was great. We came with a group of moms and little girls and had the best time! Will definitely be staying again!

We enjoyed our vacation at this home very much. the description was accurate and the house very clean and well organized. We had to reach out to the host a few times and they were extremely responsive in a timely manner. The location of this house is awesome, grocery store and restaurants are just a short drive or walk. We enjoyed the 2nd story hot tub and the beach access was very convenient. The large recreational room on the 1st floor kept the kids entertained!! Overall, we had a fabulous week at this home and it was perfect for our large family.

I can't say enough about Carrie's place... It was perfect for what we were looking for. There were still some Christmas decor remnants that made it even more cozy and special. The place is beautifully decorated and feels like home. Location was private and in an area that isn't TOO commercial, but still close enough to some great places that are walkable, including fine dining, great breakfast, golf... Oh, and the beach! Going to try to figure out when we can get back in slightly warmer weather... Looking forward to a re-visit!!! Thank you Carrie. 😊

What a house! I would have just been happy with the unobstructed view of the ocean, but the entire house was perfect for our family reunion. I will definitely be booking again.

Lisa’s place was the perfect beach getaway for our family. We loved being able to walk to the beach easily, sit out on the patio, eat meals in. She had everything we needed to make our trip seamless.

Beach Haven is a wonderful spot. Easy access to the Beach and the grounds are lovely with lots to offer. This was my second visit to #5 and I definitely hope to return.

We had a great stay. The fenced in back yard was wonderful with our dogs and was a peaceful place to sip our morning coffee.

We've traveled coast to coast and stayed in many vacation rentals. We loved everything about Holly's cottage: from the atmosphere inside & outside, close to everything (including Easter Sunday services), furnishings, linens and fabulous art and decor. Close to restaurants and shops, but quiet and calm tucked-away in the home among the waves. Literally one step from deck to the sand. Many seating and relaxing areas outdoors and in. Has all the dishes, utensils and cookware needed to eat-in whether take-out or cook your own. Neat as a pin and quintessential cozy cottage, but lives large with ample bedrooms and baths. Plenty of space to spread out or be together. When not having coffee outside, the lookout-sunroom is a great option if weather doesn't cooperate. Everything we could hope for, warm and welcoming describe both cottage and host. Do not hesitate. Thank you!

Matthew and Janet were the best hosts we have ever had! From communication leading up and during the trip to everything we could have needed being available (including having all of the beach essentials so we didn't have to pack). We have an annual trip with another family and we both have a 4 year old and the location cannot be matched for families! The pool was a great addition for the littlee. We will definitely be back!

Such and wonderful and peaceful stay! Our doggie loved being able to roam in the fenced backyard. This was the best part of our stay Beverly’s communion was quick and highly responsive. The cottage was charming, cozy, quaint and everything we needed and the well stocked kitchen (utensils and cookware looked brand spanking new!) was such great bonus. The walk to the beach was quick and easy! We highly recommend this cottage and hope to visit again.

Absolutely perfect for what we needed - cozy weekend getaway right on the beach. Really ideal location in Nags Head, felt private but also close to great restaurants, grocery stores, and activities. Would stay here again!
