Have you ever wondered what it would be like to stay overnight in a mini-storage? Probably not, lol! But if you've ever watched HGTV, you'll see that people across the country are creating short-term rentals out of all kinds of crazy things, from shipping containers and barns, to old warehouses. Well, in Cross Lanes WV, we took our cues from those folks on TV and created a short-term rental out of a storage unit! Conveniently located, just off I64, and only 1 mile to the Mardi Gras Casino.

Quirky and Cute Upstairs Apartment

This apartment is super cute, and conveniently located in St. Albans, WV. It's on the city bus route and within walking distance to restaurants and grocery store. This is an almost 100 year old duplex, so the floor plan of this unit is a little quirky, in that you have to walk through the first bedroom to get to the 2nd bedroom and bathroom (see photos). It also has an accordion style door that separates the master bedroom from the living room. It’s a super comfy place, but privacy is limited.

This house was completed June 2024 and has been furnished, stocked, and designed with the most modern and updated materials. We have specifically designed this house for nightly, weekly or month-long stays. Located 2 blocks from the Charleston Coliseum and a short walk to the lively capitol street. Located in the small community of Cottageville, WV is this 278 acre farm found at the end of a country road. This is the family farm that I grew up on as a child. My father Doug lives in the main house and tends to the hay fields and approximate 30 head of cattle. The farm house sits just below the top of a hill with a nice view of a farm field that the cows enjoy grazing on. Guests can enjoy relaxing on the large farmhouse porch, take walks, and use the fire pit.

After a long day, cuddle up on the couch and watch a move in front of the fireplace. 4wd required a steep driveway.

There is a nice laundry room and a bathroom with tub and shower. Outside the cabin door you can sit on a bench and enjoy a fire, roast marshmallows and enjoy the scenery. Firewood is complimentary. This cabin has 2 nice tvs, heat & air.
