i had fast response from the first day. loved the decor and master bedroom being separated. there was a private balcony off one of upstairs rooms. And a cool lil chill cubby. Walking distance to Cross lake. Great family memories made!

Steve was super quick to respond to any questions and even helped us out to add an extra day to our stay on short notice! The place was plenty large to have a small group and was quite comfortable. The back yard view from the living was also very pleasant! Definitely would stay again and recommend to others!

This is a lovely place! It is immaculately clean, has huge bedrooms, is well maintained & has easy access to the main highways. It has all the amenities you need, plus has those items you may have forgotten in the bathroom (toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.). I would definitely stay here again.

I needed a place for me and a turkey hunting buddy to stay close to the Kisatchie National Forest, and this was it! Very comfortable home with nice amenities and tons of charm. The Kilgore’s were very nice and welcoming.

We were visiting family and for the Red Bud festival and this was the perfect location. It's walkable to downtown and it was quiet. The home was lovely as well and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

We booked our reservation last minute as a family member passed away the day before. We checked in less than 20 hours after booking and Gene was amazingly quick to reply when we reached out with questions! If I didn’t see his message/reply in the AirBnb app, he sent me a text message. From that moment on, I knew he was going to be a great host…and a very caring one at that! We will definitely stay with Gene again!

Cute and cozy place to stay while visiting family for the holidays. Enjoyed our stay and the hosts were very attentive - and greeted us with a lovely gift basket.

This has been the most thoroughly enjoyable rental we have ever stayed in! If you have no reason whatsoever to go to Haynesville, go anyway! Book this house and soak up all the wholesome farmhouse charm your soul needs! It has big windows to take in all the wholesome heartwarming scenery, and stunning second floor views. The dogs are the most well-mannered greeters. They don't bark when you pull up, they greet you with wagging tails and will happily accept head scratches if offered but they don't impose. Every inch of this property is so therapeutic and good for the soul! Mr. Glenn, our host, was extremely attentive, welcoming and hospitable! Just the best experience!
