Ervin's home and hospitality were top shelf! Communication from start to end was friendly, prompt and helpful. The space was nicer than pictured in the listing, beautifully constructed with nice touches for every amenity you'd need. The hot tub was a recently added bonus and the location in this part of scenic Pennsylvania truly makes Ervin's place a gem. Clean and Cozy, the hot tub was a little confusing to figure out but was worth it when we did figure it out. Peaceful, lots of animals around.

This secluded cabin was so serene and peaceful! we stopped through last minute on our trip to Cleveland. the pictures don't do it justice. the private suspension bridge was so cool and the creek was relaxing and fun to fish! such a unique and romantic spot. thoughtful touches like the fresh baked cookies and wine were a special treat. would definitely stay again! thank you!

The only thing missing was a hair dryer I should have asked though just use to hotels always having one

This cabin and its host are amazing. The location is outstanding, perfect for stargazing. Gary is an attentive and thoughtful host. The cabin has everything you would need, and was very clean. Looking forward to our next visit!

The property was peaceful and secluded. We loved the pond and hot tub! The cabin was perfect- great use of space, comfortable beds and beautiful view from the living room. It was also extremely clean (probably the cleanest rental I have ever had!). Also, it was very well-stocked. There were plenty of towels both for bathing and multiple hot tub trips for everyone. The kitchen also had plenty of everything we needed. Overall, we would love to visit again!!

This location is perfect for a weekend away from it all. no cell service and so remote! 😍 It is in a valley so it's more cold naturally. Everything in the home was as pictured. unfortunately for us someone used the gas grill wrong (as charcoal ruining it for us). Lydia was so responsive and was offering to bring us a new gas tank. This is a great couple and a wonderful place. Definitely worth your time in the quiet!

Me and my girlfriend stayed for a weekend. The home is beautiful and in a very peaceful area. Was an awesome time would hope to revisit one day!

Rhonda and Dennis were very friendly and accommodating. They plowed the roads for us after a snowfall and even laid down gravel during our stay to ensure we could get our cars out. The cabin was exactly as advertised, and we were very happy with it. The beds were soft and comfortable, making for an easy and restful sleep. My friends and I had a great time staying here!

Weren't there a lot we had some other stuff to do, but just as described, beautiful setting and overall nice place. My family had a blast at our horse show and the cabin. Thank you!

This is our second stay at the cabin and it was great. We come to the area to visit family and this is the perfect place to stay with our dogs and kids. The dogs love the adjacent field and the kids love all the games and movies. I love that my dogs, kids and husband are happy and I can relax!

The place was perfect tucked away in the woods with plenty of its own space. We absolutely loved it as we needed a place to recharge and get out of the norm for a few days. Everything was as explained and clean. We had a great time and can’t wait to go back again

Absolutely a "Great Place" to stay if you like the outdoors... The cabin was extremely comfortable and "very" clean... State Game Lands, Benezette Park, Wineries and more... Definitely we will be back!!!

David provided us with an amazing log home, that was immaculately clean, well organized, and in a very beautifully peaceful location. He was very responsive and answered whatever questions I might have had, and I had a quite a few being this was the first time staying in an AirBNB. There were bibles in every room, and religious decorations that we found refreshing and comforting. I would like to thank David and everyone that helped him make our stay amazing. We will definitely be back for another stay.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for our anniversary. It was so peaceful, cozy, and relaxing. We were welcomed by 2 deer as soon as we pulled in! Even thought it was snowy and rainy , we loved every bit of it. We even took a trip to Driftwood, PA to go fishing and we even saw some elk too! We will definitely come here again!

A wonderfully peaceful and relaxing weekend getaway! The cabin was perfect and exactly what we were looking for - cozy, welcoming, clean and beautiful views. The running creek was so calming to listen to in the evening, the kitchen very well stocked and the festive lights on the front porch helped to guide the way when we were driving back in the evening. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Vicki’s cabin! It’s was very much needed get away from day to day life. Beautiful cabin in a beautiful area! Vicki made everything very easy to check in and check out. Would absolutely recommend staying here if you get the chance.

We stayed here for our anniversary and had an amazing time! The house is beautifully designed with a clean, minimalist Nordic vibe that made it feel super peaceful and cozy. The soaking tub was a real treat, especially since they provided bath bombs. And little touches like Q-tips, fluffy towels, and a well-stocked kitchen made everything feel so taken care of. The location was also really convenient: it was just a short drive to town, there was a gas station nearby, and it was only 8 minutes to the grocery store. The outdoor space was quiet and relaxing, with a fire ring that made for cozy evenings under the stars. The only thing I’d suggest is that they add a step at the front door and off the patio. The drops aren’t too big, but they could be tricky for someone with mobility issues. A step would be a great addition. Overall, it was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary. It was peaceful, stylish, and full of thoughtful details. I highly recommend it!

Perfect get-a-way weekend. The co-host, Lil, came to meet us shortly after we checked in to make sure everything to our satisfaction. Lots of space inside and huge porch outside. We could not get the gas fireplace to stay on and unfortunately Lil was not sure how it worked. Everything was clean and well maintained with the exception of a missing smoke detector. We would happily return and recommend to friends.

This is our second time staying in this cabin, that's how much we like it. It is a beautiful cabin surrounded by peace and beauty, yet near enough to Hollidaysburg and Altoona for restaurants, grocery shopping, etc. It is also very near to Canoe Creek State Park and the Lower Trail. It is close enough to State College for us to take our son attending PSU out to dinner Friday night and to attend the Blue and White game on Saturday. We didn't have any issues this stay or on our first stay, so our only communication with Joshua involved checking in and he is always very quick and informative with his responses. I highly recommend this cabin for your stay.

Very nice setting in the woods with a nice creek running through the property. Space was plentiful for our group and everything worked as expected. Kitchen was a good size and had most everything we needed and cabinets were labeled which is helpful. Only thing missing is a TV and with some bad weather during our stay that would have been nice to have.

We enjoyed the beautiful house that was well maintained in a beautiful location. Our grandkids came over one afternoon and enjoyed building a fire in the fire pit with their grandfather, walking to the creek to explore and making great memories!
