Great getaway! Cozy cottage was bigger than unexpected, very clean and nestled up to the woods. Roz’s was a great host and very responsive. Starved Rock was beautiful, great place to explore.

Really enjoyed Marty’s private backyard walk way. Very private space for a bonfire and has a grill and furnitures (chairs and benches) in front of a river. Best spot to hangout if you’re just trying to enjoy some outdoor time.

Exactly as the listing shows, great views, beautiful decor. Hot tub was perfect and ready to use, simply open and enjoy. We will definitely be back if staying in Peoria.

We enjoyed our stay so much!!! Beautiful home, so much space & the best location!!! The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in, the bed was the most comfortable ever & the Jacuzzi in the master bedroom was lovely and very relaxing! The entire home was very spacious and spotless. We honestly didn't want to leave when it was time to go.

We were in town for a few days for some high school baseball games and to visit ISU and Bradley. Even though we were gone most of the day, it was SO nice coming back to Annabelle's in the evenings to unwind and relax. It's a beautiful cottage on the water that was clean, roomy, and full of amenities. Annabelle was friendly and accommodating even though nothing went wrong and everything in the cottage was better than described. The area was quiet and the view was INCREDIBLE. Even saw a bald and golden eagle outside in the early morning hours (and found binoculars too).

Sara’s place was exactly as described! It was clean and comfortable- very private. The sauna was such a nice luxury! We appreciated all of the little niceties - like coffee , candles, and beach towels for the sauna. It was near everything, but still on a quiet street. Sara was very responsive and friendly. She had great suggestions for breakfast and really made us feel at home. We’d definitely go back!

We loved staying at the schoolhouse!! Perfect stay with the doggo (awesome yardspace). Private & peaceful, exactly what we wanted. Host was transparent about the highway noise, though not bothersome for us. Super convenient to be so close to the nearby state parks (Starved Rock & Matthiessen). Did not have to travel far to find great places to eat (Skoogs in North Utica & Jorge's in LaSalle). Was a bit pricey for just 3 nights, but never would have gotten what we were looking for at a hotel. Thank you!
