The Studio at Woodfort Estate

Our studio is perfectly placed for stunning views of our mountain and rolling hill landscapes. A weekend get away or longer retreat will be rewarded with privacy and peace to relax inside or on the spacious patio that captures amazing afternoon sunshine and sun sets! The main bedroom is detached from the living and kitchen, which has a fold out couch for extra guests. Escape the hustle and bustle; relax and unwind in the sleepy harbour town of Kawhia. An easy 2.5 hr drive from Auckland. Kahurangi cottage is the perfect accommodation in Kawhia from which to explore the area. You can drive to Waitomo caves in 1.5 hrs away along a scenic, winding road. Ocean beach is 5 km away, where you can soak in Te Puia hot springs at low tide. Kawhia is known for its annual Kai festival on Waitangi weekend and whaleboat racing on New Year's day.
