'Cwtyn' - a Cute Country Cottage

Cwtyn is a detached,stone built former swill house,used to prepare pig feed in the 19th century. It has been converted into a cosy self-catering cottage whilst retaining the original stone fireplace and slate hearth. It is now an open-plan space,compact and practical, with bathroom, kitchen, log burner,TV and Wi-Fi. Outdoors there is an enclosed space,slate patio,seating,fantastic views and private parking. Rural,peaceful and unique - a great base for exploring Snowdonia,Anglesey and Lleyn.

Based on the doorstep of Snowdonia National Park , sited on our 7 1/2 acre smallholding, Fron Cabin, being 2 bedrooms, bedroom one with a kingsize bed and bedroom with twin beds, complete with hot tub, is a great base for relaxing and exploring North Wales and meeting our alpacas. Only 15 mins from the nearest beach, with Portmadog, Criccieth and Pwllheli within easy reach. Just 5 miles from the historic town of Caernarfon and 30 mins to Bangor. A beautiful, Grade II-listed stone cottage in one of Snowdonia’s loveliest valleys. Our 18th century cottage is nestled beneath low hills in Cwm Pennant, a quiet, beautiful valley in the heart of Eryri National Park. Sitting off the road, our only neighbours are sheep and cows - an ancient church across a river is the only building in sight. The cottage is as cosy and comfortable on the inside as it is historic and beautiful on the outside - perfect whatever the season.

Nantlle is located inside Eryri National Park with Snowdon Basecamp (Rhyd Ddu) being under 5 MILES away!! Awarded UNESCO World Heritage status for its dramatic slate landscapes, Nantlle is a must-see destination for walkers, cyclists, divers, sightseers, and outdoor adventurers. We are dog-friendly and welcome one medium-sized breed.

You have total privacy with no passing traffic. Peace & quiet, wildlife and wonderful walks all at your doorstep. Watch stunning sunsets over the bay and sunrises over Snowdon. The name Bryn Goleu means mountain light. One small/medium dog is welcome but please let us know and check the doggy rules with us.
