What a gorgeous Airbnb right across the street from a beautiful beach in Waihau bay! The deck and giant windows open right to the ocean. Its a few kilometers from the Waihau Bay Lodge and store where scenes from "Boy" were filmed and friends and I got to practice our Chardonnay eye rolls. There's no cell service on my spark mobile plan, but the wifi at the AirBnB works great. Airbnb gave me coordinates that were about a kilometer away from the actual home, so I got the proper address from Meagan beforehand and was able to check in seamlessly. Thanks Meagan!

The drive way could be a challenge for smaller cars and inexperienced drivers but the view and the peace and quiet when you get there is worth it. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed and more. Enough space in the place to spread out but still have family time when needed. The wifi is great! We were able to watch a full rugby game uninterrupted. Apart from a few cobwebs around the place, it was a great stay. Would absolutely recommend staying here. Thank you Stan and Theresa for an amazing couple of days.

Absolutely loved our weekend stay, the house was fantastic and had everything we needed. The location is reasonably private but still a close run to the shop if needed. Close to beautiful swimming beaches and easy access for fishing/diving off the rocky inlet below. We appreciated the use of the kayak. Would definitely recommend this house for an amazing get-away, thanks!

Dates: 29/04/2025 - 01/05/2025 Weather was shitty but our two day stay at the AirBnB was awesome. Lovely hosts, Vicki and Brian, didn't need to bring anything but food, drinks and snacks everything else was provided. Lots of parking space, lots of room inside, beautiful view of the Pacific.

Choice place and location. Shame about the weather as we would have loved to utilise all on offer, unfortunate that we missed you maybe next time thank you both, Kim and Luke.

We were a group of 4 women who stayed at Bills place as we passed through on our road trip. We arrived at night when it was dark and Bill’s wife greeted us so kindly. Bill meet us at the property as we arrived a little earlier than we let him know but he was very accommodating and let us in. The place had everything we needed. Comfy beds, generous amount of towels. The place was very clean and meet our needs. We woke up to a stunning view of the water from the front deck. Beautiful and quiet. We absolutely recommend to stay here. We loved it! Thanks Bill
