We couldn’t of picked a better spot for our wedding anniversary! Janice’s place is so quaint & beautiful, a unique place to relax and get away from all life’s distractions. We immediately felt right at home as Janice greeted us and showed us around the property. There is so much to do just walking around the grounds, we stayed right on the creek, and had our very own secluded hot tub. Its was very comfy in the room and even had homemade breakfast delivered to our door. We loved every minute of our stay and can’t wait to stay with Janice again! Highly Recommend!!

We loved our stay at the farm. It was a perfect restful getaway that was tucked away in its own private corner but not too far from town! I've already recommended it to other people.

What a wonderful and relaxing place Hiwassee Acres is! Kathi and David are wonderful hosts and have created a truly amazing place to visit, explore, relax, and get away to. Hiwassee Acres is nestled in rural Tennessee right next to the river and mountains. The facility has so much to do and explore, including hiking, kayaking, playing with the farm animals, or just relaxing outside to take in the scenery. The surrounding area is quite beautiful with lots of outdoor activities. We took a ride on the Tennessee Valley Railroad during our visit, which I highly recommend. While the outside at Hiwassee Acres has so much beauty, the inside does as well. We stayed in a unit at the lodge, which is clean, modern, and decorated beautifully. Our unit had everything that was needed during our stay including a well-equipped kitchen, bedroom, and sitting area with a large tv that could be viewed from both areas the sitting area and bedroom. The common space has so much to offer and was a relaxing place to hang out, eat breakfast, and look at the scenery. We will certainly be back and recommend Hiwassee Acres to anyone traveling in the area or looking for a relaxing place to visit and unwind.

As a repeat guest, this is my favorite place to visit when I’m in the area. Kathi and David go above and beyond to ensure a great stay. Between the comfort, cleanliness, beautiful views and the exceptional hospitality, I highly recommend staying here. I will be back to visit every chance that I get. I’m so very thankful for Hiwassee Acres!!

My boyfriend and I spent some time in the Hiawassee trout fishing. Kathi’s place is so beautiful & relaxing. The animals are so sweet and the land is so peaceful & refreshing.

Quiet and remote, gives the feel of back to nature but with comfy accommodations. Enjoyed the coffee and oatmeal station, was well stocked. Very friendly and helpful staff.

This is such a special place that he has created and of course it’s just so neat to know it used to belong to Reba McEntire! I love the personal stories he put on the stall doors. I was so relieved when I got there and realized they were actually having dinner and an open mic night! Save me from having to figure out where to go eat and what to do! Their food is AMAZING! (Great price for the amount of food you get, but breakfast-which is included-was one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had!!!!) Everyone that works here is really friendly as well. Getting to watch the live music or participate in the open mic night is really neat. The only thing that I’d give constructive criticism on is to adjust the description in regards to the beds. It mentions in two different places how comfortable they are with memory foam mattresses. They are wooden platforms with a thin topper that’s more of a pad than a mattress. Kids were fine, but my adult body sunk to the wood=very painful.
