We loved staying here and Steve was a great host! There were some plumping issues (something apparently the city has struggled with since the hurricane) but Steve was so responsive and helpful and had it fixed in no time! I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a relaxing beach weekend!

We celebrated a family birthday in this lovely beach home. It has a fantastic location - just steps from the beach, with great views of the ocean from the decks and front windows. Hosts provided all necessary amenities including bed linens, and bath and beach towels. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, coffee maker, toaster, blender, etc. Terry and Katherine communicated well and were prompt to respond. We felt safe in this community and would definitely stay here in the future.

Vincent was a great host and was very flexible with our times! He responded quickly and everything was as described!

Unplugged was everything I hoped for. Peaceful, quiet, great views of/easy access to water. The hosts are so thoughtful having things available to do indoors ie: movies, puzzles and mindful coloring books and the best equipped kitchen that included a sharp chefs knife which I really appreciated! If I return to Matagorda I will definitely be staying here again -but longer! 😊

10/10 Stay – Peaceful, Beautiful, and Unforgettable! Derrick and I stayed at Robert and Kristin’s Airbnb last weekend to celebrate his birthday, and wow — what an incredible experience! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how beautiful and peaceful everything was. The home was spotless, well-maintained, and so cozy. It had such an inviting feel, and we instantly felt at ease. Robert and Kristin went above and beyond — they even had snacks waiting for us, and their communication was quick and helpful whenever we had questions. Now let’s talk about that outdoor shower — absolutely a must! It was one of our favorite parts of the stay and something we’ll definitely be looking forward to again. This place has officially become our little getaway spot. Thank you again, Robert and Kristin, for being such wonderful hosts. We couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. 10 out of 10 — highly recommended!

The house was great, well stocked kitchen, cleaning supplies and tons of beach toys. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

Tara was a wonderful host and very easy to communicate with. Her house was absolutely adorable. My 13 year old twins had a blast in her pool and game room. I can’t wait to stay there again and would highly recommend.

This place was amazing! Such a great location to be able to walk to both the beach and to restaurants near by. We even got a chance to be able to walk to the mini golf and go karts location. We were very excited to stay here, and it exceeded our expectations. Thank you for the great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Jonathan’s house! It was spacious, clean, and perfect for the two of us. The backyard was peaceful and was a nice spot to relax. The heated pool was a great bonus, especially on cooler nights. The host was very easy to communicate with and made everything smooth from start to finish. Everything was just as described. We'd definitely come back!

Place was nice, great open floor plan for entertaining. The downstairs patio is were we spent most of the time. Pool bigger then what is shown in pictures. I had a issue with the grill on the first night and when i reached out to Avantstay they sent some one out to try to fix the regulator but ended up bringing out a brand new grill. Very impresses with the communication and service with Avantsay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Stay Salty! Our family came to Port A for SandFest, and the location was perfect—just an 8-minute walk to the beach (either down the street or over the boardwalk), or 5 minutes by golf cart. The house was a great fit for our group, though I’d recommend it for no more than 8 people. The backyard and pool were big highlights, especially the shaded area which was a great bonus. We also loved relaxing on the front porch and felt very safe in the neighborhood. Keith was an outstanding host—super responsive and helpful. It makes a big difference having an attentive owner rather than going through a company. He addressed a few things during our 6-day stay quickly and positively, in person. There were plenty of extra throw blankets, which was appreciated! Just a heads-up: there aren’t any games or toys, so bring your own if traveling with kids. Overall, a great stay in a great spot! We would stay here again.

Absolutely loved our stay, we will be booking this location again in the future! The outdoor entertainment area was PERFECT, we were out there every night. Close to the beach access and restaurants in town, couldn't have picked a better place!

He went above and beyond to communicating to ensure we had everything we needed. Curtis made the whole experience feel easy and stress-free. The location was great!! The house was nice and clean. Will definitely return!

We really enjoyed our stay. One room had a little bit of sand in the bed but the home was comfortable and kitchen was well stocked with dishes and other things needed.

This is our second time staying at the house and it was just as amazing at two years ago. I loved watching the sunrise on the front deck with coffee (they have normal coffee pot and Kurig). The beds were comfortable. The house was very clean. Carla was helpful and responsive with questions. We also loved the sunsets from the back deck. There were tons of mosquitos, so be prepared with OFF!!

From the moment we checked in until the day we left, everything was truly wonderful! Every question we had was answered quickly and kindly, and the house itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and fully stocked with everything we could have needed. It felt like a home away from home. We loved it so much, we shared pictures on social media—and people are already asking where they can book it too! Without a doubt, we’ll be returning to this special place again.

We took our kids and grandkids for our yearly trip to the beach. The home was beautiful with lots of space. My daughter, her husband and four children all fit perfectly in the room with four queens. I loved that we had our own balcony off the master. The kids loved the wrap around porch. The bath tub in the master was amazing. We had lots of bubble baths during our stay. We were a very short drive (could have easily walked) to the beach. Everyone had a great time and loved the home.
