Reserve a romantic cabin for two and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Our jacuzzi tub and shower are big enough for two, and don't forget to visit our hot tub with its own gazebo. We also have a hanging day bed on the front porch; it's perfect for snuggling with your favorite person. There's a full kitchenette available, or you can visit fantastic restaurants that are just minutes away. We're located right between Glen Rose and Granbury, and there's plenty to do nearby.

Designed to connect with the natural systems of a special place, Chertecho sits among the trees on a 5-acre rocky slope overlooking the Pedernales River Valley. An outdoor stair system connects the three levels - a covered rooftop deck; a second-floor master suite; and a ground floor kitchen space. Glass walls open to the wooded slopes of Big Hill, a ridge separating the Pedernales and Guadalupe watersheds halfway between Comfort and Fredericksburg. A place to unplug, and reconnect.

Its cozy and stylish interior includes a king bed with organic cotton sheets, a thoughtfully stocked kitchenette, a full bathroom with a rain shower, a padded reading nook with a round window, and an outdoor bathtub on the upper deck. The kitchenette is equipped with a keurig coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, microwave and refrigerator. The bathroom has several extras in case you forget something. The shower, which has exposed copper plumbing, is sure to impress. Outside there is a small patio with adirondack chairs that over looks the horse pasture and our beautiful Panhandle sunsets.
