Welcome to our “bakhuisje”: a national monument from +- 1700. The house is cozy and comfortable; living downstairs, bed is upstairs on the mezzanine. It has a cozy electric fireplace and a comfy couch. The bathroom has everything needed. Kitchenette (without cooking) with small fridge + coffee/tea and a beautiful view (vegetable garden, greenhouse, fruit trees). Of course WiFi and a workplace. Beautiful surroundings for walking/cycling and a small sandy beach in the river at 2 minutes walking.

The apartment is a private part of our house, has your own entrance and is located on the second floor (2 stairs up). +two bikes to use for free!

In directe omgeving vind je gezellige lunchrooms, supermarkten, bars en diverse winkels. Het centrum van Den Haag is per fiets of met het openbaar vervoer zeer snel en makkelijk te bereiken. Een ideale uitvalsbasis voor een weekendje weg. Een langer verblijf en/of korting bij contante betaling is zeker mogelijk.

Hi! We are Lars and Erin and we live in beautiful Gouda. Erin is from the USA (Nebraska), and I grew up in Gouda. In 2019 we exchanged the city center for a beautiful house on the outskirts of Gouda. We chose this house because of the beautiful garden, but also because the garage gave us the opportunity to turn it into a cozy guesthouse for you to come and experience Gouda and the Netherlands! Public transport is located next door (bus) and within walking distance (tram) and takes you in 10 minutes to the center of The Hague or Delft, or in 30 minutes to the beaches of Scheveningen or Kijkduin. The 3 separate bedrooms make this apartment an ideal stay for families.
